I have some great tips for finding ancient cities in Minecraft 1.19. This method makes it much easier to find a city in survival Minecraft WITHOUT cheating.

me and my son were mining diamonds and ran across one I’d say we got kinda lucky since we weren’t even looking I’m watching these videos to figure out what it was we found it’s been awhile since we’ve played

Love how you play minecraft with you're son, back in 2011 when I was like 5/6 my 60 year old grandpa used to play with me and those are some of the best memories I've had with him and with minecraft. We would play terrible in survival and build the most unique creative worlds. He's a little older now and I'm a lot more advanced so I can't really play with him like I used to. So please cherish the moments while you have them 🙌

None of this worked for me. My world is from 1.12. I had to use the / command and lo and behold, it is dead center under an ocean! I had to dig down on nearest land, which is Badlands. But no section of the Ancient City is in Badlands biome. So I guess it can spawn differently in old worlds. This is in an area close to spawn and already rendered long time ago. Also, my world is a water world for like 2000 blocks every direction around 0,0.

Hi, when you generate new chunks by any means, on foot on the overworld or in the nether and then making a portal to travel faster and efficient (or whatever obscure method I don't know) if you find one of the new mountains, there's usually an ancient city down there, like, almost guaranteed and it would be rare for it not to spawn, either way, you could dig down or, look out for a massive hole on the surface, it leads directly to the deep dark and the ancient city

And i died.. I was searhing some tunels with schulk sensors when warden appears and killed me with sonic blast trough walls. Tryed to use shield but he was beeneth me...Good bye one year on hardcore.
