whats funny is that the "librarian" was actually pennywise watching over Ben. i didn't notice this until watching a video about facts from IT chapter one, so it's cool seeing you notice this on the first watch
btw i have a question so like idk where but pennywise says something about fear tasting good, so if the kids like just wont b scared of him would he still try to get them?
I have had to edit all of these scary movie videos and Nick & Cory have yet to fully compensate me for the metric assload of diapers I've had to go through 😭
I went into the men's room one day and it was the worst thing I've ever seen in my whole damn life. Yes, there are often problems in women's toilets, but what I saw in the men's toilet caused me pain in my eyes and nausea🥴
Exactly. If a girl is afraid of sitting where someone else has been sitting, she put toilet paper on the seat. Plus girls at least know how to wipe up after themselves unlike boys.
To be fair, girls can be gross. Girls either don't flush their blood or whatever business they do, and ove seen girls wet tampons in thw sink and stick them to the ceiling. Guys are 10x worse tho
that's because nowadays the dumbasses that do dumb stuff and drugs and such mess around and make messes for the rest of us. that being said i thankfully moved from a school with much of that and now they're all relatively clean
A list of the fears because its lowkey important for the next one (If you watch it) Richie: being gay and rejection Eddie: any illness Bev: SA and her dad Ben: weight and rejection Bill: Guilt from losing his brother, stutter Mike: guilt and loss of his family from a fire Stan: growing up and adults.
I think the SA and her dad can be lumped into one, because Bev's other fear is blood. In the book she has a fear of blood due to getting her period and is scared about her dad's reaction.
I thought Richie's fear was just "clowns"... is the fear of "being gay" a thing from the book? (which I imagine you mean he's gay and his fear is being outed) I didn't get that from this or the sequel - although I guess I can see that a little bit now the more I think back to it, but... I'm just curious if they are more explicit with that fear in the book... like, was it something they just flat out say/are more direct about?
@@tgosselin2528 I dont think is actually clowns. I think he said that because he didn't want to say what he ACTUALLY fears. But if you think about it, his fear of clowns sort of ties with the fact that he becomes a comedian. He fears people wont laugh at his jokes but rather at him. In the movie, when he's by the clowns, he's scared of course. But mostly like - "what the fuck?" He's not that scared. The most we have seen him scared is when he finds his MISSING poster. I think that's what he's most afraid of. No one remembering him, no one looking for him, abandoment, being forgotten. That's what I think. There's also the sequel in which he's scared of the lumberjack statue. It could very well him being scared of how tall and creepy the statue looks that it one day will move. Total normal fear. But also, a lumberjack is sometimes synonim of a "real" manly man, which Richie fears he's not. At least that's my theory
As a 17yr old with a stutter i get picked on for it, so 10:25 that point in the movie is so accurate, sadly its very common for people who have stutters like me to get picked on a lot for it, it's why I am so quiet, so I love you guys for the, "your gonna pick on him for his stutter?" Comment, also one last thing my grandmas always like, "I don't care when you stutter so why do you hate stuttering around me?" I hate stuttering in general it makes me angry and embarrassed. Sorry for the long comment
you + stutter = near total silence, especially in public me + autism-induced social anxiety and general awkwardness = near total silence, especially in public
The only horror film you have watched so far that actually freaks me tf out. Ever since my dad made me watch a half hour of the original when I was 5 I have been deathly afraid of clowns.
Same. I watched it for the first time at about that age. My mom was watching it in the middle of the night and I woke up and snuck up behind her and watched. I ain't been right since then 😂
@@allisonbeattie4738 I won’t even go to those haunted overload/attraction sites because of that. They always have them. Ghosts? Cool. Dolls and clowns? Nope, I’m out.
I don't know why, but this movie has a special place for me, maybe because the main characters are children, and they have to endure something much stronger than themselves as a team. It's also a horror movie, but it's not just someone cutting themselves off alive, there's a really scary character...
So glad I stumbled across this. Your reactions are genuine and hilarious, that sake did not stand a chance. I will admit, seeing this in the theater was a whole other level of frightening. I am a grown-a** man & screamed at just about every scene you guys did. Please do IT Chapter 2
i love these horror movie reactions!! you guys can always make it an annual thing- watching spooky movies in spooky season if cory isn't feeling them all year round lol love you guys
Omg so excited for this you guys are gonna crap your pants so bad I'm even doing shots along with you this time. Can't wait for the insidious movies, bit of knowledge about the insidious franchise-directed by James wan written by leigh wanell, leigh is in the movie, and both James and leigh have done numerous projects together including saw. Most of the best horrors are done by these two in my opinion. Also the guy who does the music is also in the film and the evil entity
Ok. Y'all made me feel (and realize) I'm old. I remember the original miniseries It. Read the book too. Hope you weren't so traumatized that you don't do It: Chapter 2. Hugs from Newfoundland 👋
the bullies aren't the same age as the other kids. iirc, the middle and high school are in the same building, they're around 14-15. Patrick (the one who dies in the sewer early on) was a lot worse in the book, too. He killed animals and kept them in a broken fridge in a garbage dump to watch them rot over time. (I think he gets eaten alive by a swarm of insects in the book too) Also, "that scene" at the end of the book requires a lot of context. To begin with, Stephen King was on a lot of coke the whole time he was writing IT, and apparently doesn't even remember some of what he wrote. Secondly, from the perspective of the kids, it was supposed to be this kind of "ritual" that would make them adults, and therefore immune to IT. It was a way to stop IT from ever coming back, by taking away what IT had been feeding on. Again, it's been a while, but I don't remember it being written very erotically, either. Just very matter-of-fact that it was happening. (and a half-chapter doesn't mean much when most chapters are like, 3 pages or so.)
When Pennywise sprung from the projection and ya'll screamed 🤣 Prime reaction content. Lol My best friend who passed away in 2020, her name was Penny and my little niece would always call her Pennywise. So I kinda love this movie, just because of that. Lol
Bill Skarsgård (the clown) actually has that lazy left eye, he has to concentrate to make it look straight. Finally came in handy. Great reaction boys, you have a new subscriber 🤝
Venho pedir novamente e calorosamente para que continuem gravando esse tipo de vídeo pois a existência do Cory com medo me deixa EXTREMAMENTE feliz. Obrigado.
I remember having to watch this for this first time in cinema, everyone, including me of course, were literally screaming and jumping out of their seats, even the group of dudes in our row. The library part haunted me for a bit.
Basements are inherently creepy. The one in my old house had a boarded up wall, behind it a door, behind the door, no clue I didn't investigate further. Anywho, react to more horror, it's hilarious.
Had a roommate where we shared the same bathroom. When it was flo time for her she'd never clean the seat, I left Clorox wipes and a sticky note at 9am and head to class. I got back from theatre and classes like around 10pm, mess was still there. And I get when it's heavy it happens, but you clean it up. Worst time sharing a bathroom with someone.
Oh geez. There’s so many things wrong with this 😭 She has no shame, damn. If I had a roommate and had to share a bathroom I’d be embarrassed to leave a mess. I can’t believe she wasn’t considerate of that. It’s not only disgusting to leave it for your roommate to clean up, but it’s a biohazard, literal blood. I understand heavy flows, I’m someone who often has to clean the seat or flush a few times, but I always make sure it’s clean. I’m sorry you had to deal with that.
As someone that cleans school restrooms for work, no 😭😭 boys restrooms r sooooo gross. They are way worse then the girls bc omg cleaning urinals is disgusting and having to wash the pee off of them 😭😭
First of all, you guys should never stop with the horror movie reactions because they're just great, lol! Secondly, you guys should definitely watch the original 1990 miniseries version of the movie that's in two parts at some point. 😏😂
I know they are making jokes still however i like that they actually get scared. So many channels feel they are either exaggerating their reactions or just laugh it off as if it wasnt scary. I just appreciate that it feels im actually watching two guys try to muscle through a horror movie.
I looooove this movie 🥰🥰🥰 watched it at the cinema, I regretted it very quickly 😂😂 Pushed myself as far back into the chair as possible and told my friend "why the heck did we choose to do this?!"
