Fun fact, Drew Barrymore's character IS hanging by her intestines. The movie originally had the zoom in really slow so that you'd see that it was her intestines, but the movie rating would have been higher than rated R, she they sped up the zoom to how it is in the final product :)

the director talked a little more about stu's motive in an interview n apparently a big part of the reason bro was killing people left and right was that he just had a crush on billy😭

Matthew Lillard (Stu) spends the whole movie at an 8 intensity, but escalates to 11 after the reveal and stays there until he bites it. He's just wonderful.

HA. It always amazes me when people haven’t seen this movie. It was such a cultural phenomenon when it was released. And all the actors were prevalent in pop culture. So so good.

This movie is basically like a classic! Its mind blowing knowing there are people out there that still havnt seen this, and dont know who the killers are.

Fun fact, stew is played by Matthew Lillard who went on to play shaggy in the 2 live action scooby doo movies, and voice shaggy in alot of stuff after, he's also gonna be in the five nights at Freddie's movie

The great thing about Scream was it was so self aware, in that it even though it is a serious subject it constantly refers to old Horror films and makes reference to the plot of them etc. It also spawned superb sequels, each on of them is great too and well worth a watch. You gotta do the sequels, the writing is just so clever.

Spoiler for those who haven't watched the film yet: When Sydney stabbed Stu with the umbrella, it accidentally missed the protective piece he had on his chest, and he was literally stabbed. His reaction was 100% real, whoopsie!

Neve Campbell in this movie was sooo HOT and GORGEOUS. A fun fact of the movie it´s that Courteney Cox (Gale Weathers) and David Arquette (Dewey), had a romance in the real life, like in the film, and were married and had a daughter.

Having watched Scream VI before this, I would've thought a lot of things would've been obvious to them.

You need to watch Halloween (the original), nightmare on elm street, Friday the 13th (1 & 2) and Child’s play lol

THE WHOLE REASON SCREAM WENT VIRAL BACK THEN IS DREW BARRYMORE WAS THR FACE OF ALL THE PROMOTIONAL MATERIAL (Posters, trailers, interviews, etc) AND SHE DIED IN THE FIRST SCENE EVERYONE WAS SO SHOCKED! Because the movie started off not being predictable by killing off the seemingly main character and biggest actor. Also P.S. Stu’s motive is a huge thing in the fandom…a lot of people think he did it because he was in love with Billie because a lot of their interactions were rather homoerotic with the hugging and whispering in the ear etc and the “stick it in me”. I like that theory because if you watch back Stu is always trying to impress Billie by saying something funny or bullying someone etc. Another theory is that he is somehow still alive out there and his real motive will come into play in one of the upcoming movies. HIGHLY RECOMMEND WATCHING THE WHOLE FRANCHISE! They are all good in their own way…some better than others but they all are entertaining. They’re so popular for a reason. In my opinion this first one is one of the better ones but 4 and 6 are my favorites to revisit. They’re sooooo goood! Though the ending is a little silly and unrealistic in 6 but I love it. 2 is great! 3 is a bit campy and not quite as loved. But all the rest are instant who done it thriller/horror classics.

Hate that I'm old enough to know this, but "using up all my minutes" is semi-true for 1996. There weren't minute limits on your home phone, but they did charge you extra based on the time of day. Your bill wasn't a flat fee, it had usage charges and it was more expensive to call during the day vs. at night. Also, duh, Drew Barrymore is in this. She was offered the lead role and she said it would be more impactful if she was the first death. So they promoted the film like she was the star "final girl" and had her death be a shock. It's a huge reason why the movie was a hit.

You guys need to pay more attention to the actual movie… you ask so many questions but if you would have payed attention you would have already know 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
