After an 11 day honeymoon in Italy, I’m easing my way back.
We attend an interesting job having to open a tool chest and change the locks.
We also change the locks for a customer that has just moved into their new home.
And Steve bumps his first lock

Glad you had a great honeymoon. Cool to see Steve wanting to be in the trade with his trusted assistant Willie. It will be good to have a mate that is trained up as a a locksmith. Thanks for sharing your jobs with us I always find them interesting, cheers

Firstly, Venice is awkward to navigate. This is what I found, but nice enough, secondly, what have you got on your steering wheel lol ? Thirdly, I have never found a lock that opened with over lifters? What do you do with them is it like bouncing under the levers a bit like an EPG for lever locks. I will have to watch andy macs video on them. Take care Matt

Hello buddy. Yes overlifting is exactly that whilst going on and off with tension. I will always try overlifting for a couple of minutes before picking 👍🏼

Hi Mate love your videos :-) Just a quick question What picks do you suggest keeping on the van for mortice locks? There are so many to chose from ! Take care mate and looking forward to the next video

Hi Matt. Glad you enjoy the videos mate 🙏🏼 It all depends on your area really!! I see a lot of Chubb 3G114’s, Union 2134’s, Union Strongbolt Era Fortress and Era Viscount. I would certainly suggest a decent non curtain and curtain pick, and some over lifters, and then try and gauge what’s in your area if you can. Obviously I see other locks but the ones above are what’s most common in my area. Hope that helps mate and thanks for watching 🙏🏼

@brighton_locksmith Thank you for the reply. Fortunately GJ locks is about a 30min drive from where I live! I think I'll pay him a visit and pick up a multipick with a few wires. 90% of my work is euro cylinders, so never really went down the mortice route ,but it's good practice to have them !
