It was a pleasure meeting you Metal Jesus!! I’m CJ, the girl who had the Pokemon bus display! Just posted my video with you as well, I was so nervous meeting you so I was rambling haha! But you’re a stand up guy and I wanted to say thank you so much for taking the time to shoot a little clip with me. It means so much! 😊
@@username_redacted_1987 it's cool relax I'm metal jesus younger bi nephew he knows all his fans are weird dont worry about it at all, perfectly normal 😊
Clarification: I don't yet have a complete PSP collection, just that I want to go for one. I have a little over 200 titles to go (there are 606 total in North America)
I've been collecting a bunch of Maddens and Fifas. Great time and they're a lot of fun once you get better at it. Easy 30-45 min pick up and play games
@@MetalJesusRocks I enjoyed the convention as well (though I didn’t really chat with you or anything like that on Saturday (and I would’ve mentioned the rpgmaker game Omori as it’s such a good game), I still enjoyed the expo and got to chat a bit with the guy who owns the channel gaming historian (btw not sure if you saw me or not, but I had glasses and was wearing a mostly black shirt that was also white (it is an Omori shirt))
Was great to meet you and get my backpack signed! Always afraid to meet the channels I watch because you never know if someone will end up being a jerk. You were just like you are in the videos a badass metal dude thats super kind. Hope to see you at another con in the future!
Dude! Wish I known that you were there, DC. I would have loved to have met you. (MJR fans, go check out his channel. It focuses on game room setups and ideas.)
Watching you for so many years now. I like to say, you rockkkkkk dude. Keep it honest and cool that’s what makes you great. I respect your honesty and just being a good human and simple guy. Thanks Metal J
It was such an honor meeting you last week at the expo!!! Thanks for awnsering my questions about the Steam Deck and taking a look at my limited edition and modded consoles. Also thanks for taking a pic with me Rock On Metal Jesus!! 🤘🏾
I love the unique perspective of someone from the western part of the country being amazed at how old the buildings are. Being from Massachusetts, I kind of take the historical significance of the buildings for granted since I’ve been around them my entire life. I was bummed I had to skip attending this year’s expo but I hope to be there next year!
So awesome meeting you at the expo. You are such a legend and I love how passionate you are about gaming. I also can’t believe my picture made it in the video!! Hope you can make it back to CT in the future!
So glad you had an awesome time! Unfortunately I missed you...the line for you was nuts on day one. But that's Hartford, man - still metal, through and through. It was heartwarming to see considering we lost our one rock station years ago (WCCC). Thanks for coming!
Hey Metal Jesus, it was really interesting hearing your observations on the buildings and the climate and stuff. I'd be happy to watch an MJR travelogue! The place looks similar to areas here in England. Great video!
As a long time fan of your content it was great to finally meet you! I was the guy with the Gojira hoodie who gave you a Sleeping Beauty Plug and Play. Maybe in the future we'll see an update video on your Plug and Play collection since the last one was 8 years ago (Crazy how time flies!). That Sleeping Beauty or any of the other ones you have would be hilarious to feature in an "I Hate You" challenge as well (Create your own drinking games!?). Thanks for coming out this year! The expo has certainly exponentially grown in popularity and size since the last one. You really can't see and experience it all in one day! I found that great deals can still be had even in this market, just need to shop around all the booths and find the one with the lower price for what your looking for. It seemed that vendors this year were much more willing to take offers or give you a great bundle discount! Rock on Metal Jesus and keep up the great work!
It was so great to finally meet you! You're the reason I bought a ticker this year. I hope you had a chance to check out some of the local retro game shops in CT. If you come back next year please bring John R and Reggie with you!
I am jeleous for all of you guys.. Here in Indonesia.. we never got this kind of game expo or anything.. Glad i can experienced here.. with all of you.. through MJR Videos.. Thankyou somuch

Thank you so much Metal Jesus for being so nice to my boy! He's still so amazed that you have 8000 games! You always go above and beyond.. thanks again! 🤘🏻
Hey Metal Jesus! I'm glad you came to Hartford, CT for the convention. By the way, you met my brother there and took a picture of him as well. He probably told you about his RU-vid Channel as well. I hope I get to meet you someday. I'm glad my brother did. Maybe I go to Portland someday for the convention there. Keep up the good work and stay safe during the pandemic! :)
The comments are flooded with people who met MJ and every single comment is how awesome of a dude he was. Hear him say he "Didn't get to spend a lot of time" at different places he went? Cause he was being such a cool dude and doing meet and greets all over. I just want to recognize how awesome he is. He enjoyed going here, but he served the community too. What a wonderful, beautiful community you've developed here, Mr. Jesus. Made me wish I could've been there.
Thank you so so so much for this series ! We are blessed to see you travel to places that some probably have never been and see some of the cool old retro games along the way !!!!!
Hey MJR, Excellent vid! I’m Tom from Canvas Quest-- the guy who had the adventure game pins and magnets on canvas. Thanks so much for the shout out at 6:04 and for coming by our booth. It was a total blast to meet you and I’m really happy you liked our stuff! We’re passionate about making our old adventure game favorites! (with many more to come! :D) Thanks again and happy to shoot over some social media and shop links of ours if there is anything else you’d like!
Hey Tom! I couldn't find my footage of the name of your booth for some reason, which is why I didn't include it in the video. So THANKS for commenting! I mailed a package back home via UPS with your pins in it and other stuff. Thought they'd be here by now for the video, but I'll share them on social media when they arrive! So much cool stuff at your booth 👍
@@MetalJesusRocks Ah, that’s fantastic! I’d love that- thank you so much! And totally psyched you got to make it over to the East Coast and happy you had a good stay and fun times at the con- Kris at RetroWorld Expo puts on excellent show! Thanks again man!
Please come back to the east coast again soon! My fiance and I had such a great time at our first convention and it was so cool meeting you! I'm so glad you enjoyed New England! It was so surreal to just see you walking around and see you eating lunch at the same BBQ resturant I was eating at lol
@@MetalJesusRocks , Famous Dave's is a pretty good place where I live, and, best of all, their barbecue sauce also sells nationwide if you cannot make the trip over here.
Lovely to see the Premium Editions guys in this video. Every one of their releases has been a must-have title. Really nice guys who always respond to any questions on their FB page.
Yes, they are Perler Beads. My daughter is way into those things. You put the little colored beads on a peg board and iron them to fuse them together. They have many special kits with specially shaped peg boards and patterns. My daughter got a Mario one and has made many Mario characters with it.
Hearing you speak about how much you enjoyed the "old" buildings makes me appreciate the history I have around me. Setting aside the prehistoric etc. My city has a Castle and cathedral from around 1070. It also has still standing roman walls! People in Europe are VERY lucky.
Thanks for sharing your experience on your trip. Looks like it was a really great convention! Hope you can make it to the Southern California Gaming convention this February. My twin brother and I met you and drunken master Paul last time. Thanks for being such a cool, down to earth person like you are in your videos!
Heya! I'm Jack from Geek Mythology Crafts! Thanks so much for coming to the table and giving Shantea a good home. Was a pleasure meeting you and I'm gonna be a regular watcher now, just like I said ;-). Also they are called Perler Beads, based off the Perler company that is the leading brand of the beads. Also they get called Bead Sprites
@J B, nice work on the bead craft pixel art. Anyway, do you do pixel art on the computer? I am making a new kind of card game and I could use the skills of an artist. May you be so kind as to offer your skills for me, please? If my card game idea is successful, not only would I give you royalties, but also stocks, on the company, should it ever become successful enough to go public. Thank you.
@@paxhumana2015 my wife is the one who designs them and we currently are not accepting any offers of that size and type. Thank you for the offer and consideration
Hopefully you can make another video about all the new PSP games you have been buying. And which ones you’ve liked the most so far. Also now that you declared you are going for a complete collection, you know we are going to hold you accountable lol
MetalJesus, I didn't go to Retro World Expo, but my friend did. I gave him a video game of mine, and asked him to see if he could get you to autograph it. The game was Burnout 3 Takedown on Xbox. I figured it was right up your alley. He told me he did in fact get to meet you, and you signed my copy of Burnout 3 Takedown. Even though I wasn't there in person, and couldn't get to meet you thank you so much for singing my game! You don't know how happy that made me. -Brendan
Just love seeing the autumn foliage, very scenic. I like that MJR takes it all in and shows us, this is what life’s about. I hope MJR has a map at home and has pins on every place he’s visited, that’s the real unlocked achievement. Maybe an end of the year recap of where MJR has visited with stories could be a thing. 👍🏻🙏🏻
I went to Midwest Gaming Classic that same weekend. The east coast is a place I want to visit for sure. Those are some dope pickups. I debate on whether or not I want a complete set of anything but if I did, I would get a Lynx set. Even if it was loose
@@gangstertalk , and you, and your fake sock puppet username accounts, are ironically even more toxic than the person that you are condemning online. I seriously doubt that you even HAVE a video game collection, let alone a life OR a wife!
I grew up in CT, and ive gone to Retroworld years ago when it was a lot smaller. Dont live there anymore, but its great to see that convention still goin and getting bigger
Seeing how many people met you in the convention and then dropping a comment here to say hi speaks volumes about how awesome the retro gaming community is.
Hey Jason it was so nice to meet you after watching for years. Thank you for signing my poster. The panel was cool. I was the one who asked if you could only keep one console what console would it be? You said you hated me for that question. (Video coming soon.) Jason is a awesome dude he’s exactly what you see in the videos.
This was great! I can't believe I waited to watch this. Usually I look forward to my Fridays because I know there'll be a MJR vid. I also like the MJR Extras vids when they come through.
These Expo video rock! It's been so long Jason! Definitely worth the wait. I bet folks were stoked to finally meet you! Awesome vid!! 🤙🏽🎸🤙🏽🎸 Smart game hunting the best way to go!
I met you at the Expo Metal Jesus (I was the guy in the Banjo-Kazooie shirt and hoodie.....the one that talked to you about your American N64DD.) Sorry if I was awkward! I can't say I've ever met a RU-vidr in person before! But it was a pleasure to meet you!
Can’t tell ya how many times I’ve seen everyone of your videos. Mostly instead of Netflix I let your channel just auto play when doing things. Best channel on RU-vid.
Really nice video-especially getting to see some of Connecticut. I also really like touring the areas I visit before heading to different regions that game conventions happen in.
The east coast is just as gorgeous as the Pacific Northwest. I've been there, but it was only for a week. I want to go back for an extended amount of time. 😊
OK, those magnetic pins and canvases were fabulous! This Expo looked great, we should have taken the 4 1/2 hour drive from Maine to check it out. Hope you all go again next year!
It was awesome to finally meet you last Saturday at the expo. I've been a fan for years and glad you finally made it to an east coast con! See ya next time! DT forever! 🤘🤘🤘
I live in South Jersey, this was only a 4 hour drive for me; but I've never been there before. I did a day before and after; I went all the way out to Boston and all around Hartford. It was a fantastic time there; although I spent WAY more money than expected, even acquired a Kaypro 2 lol. It was great meeting you and several other RU-vidrs like Lon Seidman.
In my experience Hartford is not a tourist city at all, it is very much just a business district that shuts down at 5pm on Friday unlike say a Boston which very much has an active night life during the week and on weekends.
Wow man thank you for this! It is amazing! I grew up on the east coast in Maryland, lived in WA for a short time and even worked for Nintendo, Though I will always be a Sega fan
Jason, I’m glad to see you love the east coast! The area is beautiful in the fall season. Too bad you didn’t stay another week, we’re going to see Overkill and Demolition Hammer tomorrow night in their return home show in NJ!🤘🏻
