When AFTN and East Fife fans performed their infamous "Cowden Family" song on the BBC's "They Think It's All Over" in December 1996, the appearance garnered a lot of press and TV coverage. The song was also a comic strip in the fanzine and was voted "Best Football Chant" by listeners of BBC Scotland's "Off The Ball" show.
