East Lomond and Maspie Den

We parked up at Craigmead car park near Falkland in Fife for the night in the van. That afternoon while Brora had a nap I climbed East Lomond. The following day we walked from Craigmead down to the Pillars of Hercules cafe via the stunning Maspie Den. My 1st visit to this stunning gem.
Below is a link to the circular walk from Falkland visiting both East Lomond and The Den. The cafe at The Pillars of Hercules is a short detour.

Some great walks out there , Bunnet Stane, Bishop Hill, great wee hills the Lomonds and excellent tea-rooms in Falkland, one does the best scones ever.Nice wee videoTaa for sharing RC😋

You fairly get about Linda 👍 My local hills done West at the weekend there in deep snow i take them for granted though having them so close lots of great hikes up and around the lomond hills thanks for sharing 👌 David

@@LindaOutdoors if your ever back over this way and fancy tackling East Lomond from the best and most challenging route up IMO try starting from E Loan in the village of Falkland a fantastic hike up all the best David 👍
