We stopped over in EAST LONDON, as Craig had to be there for work, so that left us with very little time to explore the city. We tried to do as much as we could, but our highlight was definitely our amazing AirBnB :)

Thank you for your lovely video. It brought back good memories. My home town. I went to school there (tried to, but Nahoon beach was just down the road from my school, so I bunked off and went surfing. In those days the teachers did not contact parents or ask why you weren't at school. I had to re-do Std 6 😂 I miss East London and Durban more than anything. I now live in the UK and have done so for the last 24 years. I wish I could go back.

My old home town...you nailed it with Friesland...but you HAVE to try Shamrock pies, right opposite that Friesland is one, in Hemingway's.

Thanks for the video, I lived in East London for 17 years, and miss it so much! Definitely visit Gonubie next time, the beach is the best in East London, with an amazing lagoon and beautiful cliffs. My best tip for a visit to any East London beach is: Go Early... Same as in Durban. The best time for a swim is between 6 and 9:30. At 10 the wind picks up, and it becomes unpleasant. After a swim you can walk along the boardwalk and breakfast at the pancake house. You picked a great spot to stay, we actually wanted to buy that house some years ago, especially for the view, but ended up closer to the beach. I would definitely suggest staying in Gonubie as well, you'll find great airbnb's and also fantastic BnB's

You guys are always out doing yourself! I wish the videos were longer ☹️ they’re so awesome. One tip I thought of when watching, maybe you should pop the air bnb details or like a slide on the screen of the one you booked, and also pop the name of the places you visit on the screen as well. 🙂 can’t wait for the next one! ☝🏻

That house rules sign is so inspiring. It gives the vibe of the AirBnB as a calling to embrace it, and whoever you're with in that place. The view: 😲😲😲😲😲😲😲😲😲😲😲😲😲😲 As a cheesehead, we can confirm milk bars are awesome. It still is so crazy for us northern hemisphereans (is that a word) to see Christmas decorations in the middle of summer. Maybe we'll get down there at that time someday and enjoy it!

Thanks Jay. We don't have many milk bars in South Africa. So its really a treat when we find one. Its so strange you say that about Christmas in summer. We only know Christmas in summer😅. If we ever moved to the Northern Hemisphere it would take us a while to get used to Christmas in winter😂

But do you in the southern part of the world find it weird that so many symbols worldwide of Christmas involve snow, cold, a Santa that's not dressed up for summer weather? Probably driven by how 85-90% of the world's population lives in the northern hemisphere, I would think.

That is an incredible Airbnb!! I've only ever done 2 Airbnbs and I've was great, the other was awful. This gives me hope though to try again. East London looks like a great spot. I'd definitely go for the beach and the milkshake 👌 looking forward to your island stay!!

Great air bnb guys, looked stunning! Love the little touches! Great view you guys had! Ah we enjoyed Hemingways mall, the entertaining center looked so fun when were there! We only did a quick stop in East London! Love the Christmas lights they had on display! Excited to see the next episode!

Your airbnb is gorgeous! I love the views of the valley...I would have chosen this view instead of the ocean as well. I'm not a big milkshake person but that milkshake looks delicious. It looks perfect on a hot day. Staying on an island?? Sounds amazing...can't wait!!!

We actually realized that we never explained the milk bar 🤦🏻‍♀️ yes, so instead of the milkshake coming in a glass, they put it into that bottle and seal it, was a really cool experience, so bummed that we didn’t capture that on video 🙈 The bathtub was great, I bought bubble bath and had a nice and relaxing soak 😅 Dinner is always good on the braai 😊
