Welcome to the newest station on the railway network! The level crossing removal project at Pakenham presented the opportunity to improve the interaction between V/line and Metro trains at the end of the line. Often, V/lines would get delayed while waiting for space at Pakenham. This new station allows for V/lines to easily pass by terminating Metro trains.
This video is a bit of a strange one, because most of it was filmed at night, but there are some clips from the day. Nevertheless, you should be able to get a sense of what the station is like.
