You could see where Nick got it from. Charlie was just as nasty but was more of a spiv than a violent criminal like Nick. Yet it was definitely him Nick got his deceptive element from.
Felt so sorry for Dot having a son like that and a late husband who walked out on her for a large amount of Nick's childhood. No wonder Nick ended up calling in the wrong crowd and getting involved with drugs etc, when Dot lost it with Charlie it kinda reminded me of when Ned Flanders has that outburst towards his own community when his house got knocked down again
