Andy was a quite serious person and didn't take no crap from anyone but then once Johnny Allen arrived he started becoming pathetic and was shit scared of him
The hypocrisy from Phil 😂😂😂😂 he lords it like his this big bad boss that takes no nonsense but when confronted he literally takes the candy Vincent and Callum would find this funny
@@babbeyrosso4903 There's a difference between being brave and stupid, I'd like to see how you would act, if you were confronted by a gangster, who brings like 4 hardmen with him.
I wonder how Grant would've handled this situation. He definitely wouldn't have backed down as easy as Phil did, and I'm not talking about the Grant who was terrified of Jason Cox lol
I dunno to be honest with mate you mate this proves The Mitchell's are never about that life people like Andy don't back down due to you beating them up plus he had about 10 heavies with him with more behind the phone Grant himself wouldn't of done much in this situation
@@danniimayyy9607 Idk, Phil is a brute but he always knew when to fight and when not to, this scene is a good example. I can't really say the same for Grant, he'd pretty much fight anyone.
@@H.K.5 Its a fight Grant would of lost to be honest 10s of henchmen built like brick houses I do get what your saying but even the Mitchell's can't win fights with gangsters out to get blood and that includes Grant he would beat anyone in a one v one but to think he can take 10s of men built bigger then you in size would be abit mad
@@danniimayyy9607 Yeah I agree with everything you said there and I never said Grant can beat Andy and all of his men at once, I'm just saying he wouldn't have backed down like Phil did. I doubt he would have anyway.
Surprised Phil never just punched and threatened Andy he would have shat himself and his heavies would have backed down cos that's how it works in Eastenders land he took on Johnny who was higher up than Andy plus Aidan when he had his heavies with him.
Why though Phil and Dennis never liked eachother, why would Phil take a savage beaten from Andy's henchmen in which they then might've harmed his wife and daughter all to protect Dennis?
@@rossrobson6935 Dennis saved his life. Even though Phil and Dennis weren’t friends, he still owed him. Plus he constantly talks about how much he despises grasses yet he’s one himself, it’s pathetic.
@@H.K.5so if you were confronted by a bloke that has multiple henchmen’s with him that can beat you to death you wouldn’t grass? You’d just stay quiet? Yeah okay lol
Phil can be really irritating at times. Andy was underrated sometimes aswell though. 2003 I think it was slowly the beginning of the end for eastenders that led until 2010 and then its curtains for the show.
Andy was a great character but in terms of being a gangster, he was rubbish compared to guys like Johnny and Jack Dolton. That's why he was scared of Johnny and I think he was scared of Jack too.
Whilst I’d agree 2010 onwards is where the show went downhill in quality. Eastenders in the 2000s imo was lowkey it’s peak. The 90s were great but like the wwe. In the 2000s it was the perfect blend of characters new and old for that decade and had the best storylines that covered not just gangster stuff but life too. Now post 2010 the show has kind of lost that variety and edge and now is one note and inconsistent like making Phil the terminator or not making characters have interesting stories rather than just relationship dramas.
If this was 2022 phil he would of beaten andy and his henchmen and the firm would of backed off because they like to make phil look like Bruce Lee now at 60 odd 😂🤣😭
If I remember correctly Andy arrived just as Phil was leaving as Steve McFadden done a pantomime tour for a year hence why he was away for just over a year
One of Phil's most pathetic moments. Such a grass. All his preaching to others about grassing too, he's a hypocrite when it suits him. It's not the first time either, he grassed on that Jimmy he was feuding with in 94 to get him arrested too remember & on Steve Owen to his partners that he ripped off. SMDH.
Yeah in 2003 Phil really was pathetic, he grassed up Dennis here and then a few weeks later arranged to have a one on one fight with him only to get his henchmen to do it for him, before he punched Sharon in the face in the pub too
@@danniimayyy9607 I think if we've learnt anything from Phil in his 30 years in the show it's that he's full of shit. Hates grasses but he's been one a number of times & threatens to kill people constantly when he's shown time & time again that he's not about that life. He's full of his own bullshit. Entertaining character but certainly doesn't uphold the criminal code that he preaches constantly & he's not half as bad as he looks to portray himself as. Not a guy worthy of respecting.
Sometimes it gets to a point where you have to tell. The little girl gets murdered if not. Could you really withstand that? So all of you little wineos saying he shouldn't grass, I think you would all do the same thing if your kids get threatened, or any kid.
