Stevie reminds me of Terry Raymond. He was introduced as a horrible father but he slowly redeemed himself and it looks like they’re doing the same thing with Stevie.

It's a bit different though as Terry developed whilst in the show. He actually joined the show as horrible & abusive whilst Stevie came in already looking to make amends. Also correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think it's been said Stevie was abusive has it? I've only heard Billy accuse him of never wanting to be a dad to him & eventually running out on the family. I can't remember him saying he was violent to him or anything like that, Billy's childhood abuse happened whilst he was in care.

@@NoirFan84 Yeah Stevie never abused Billy although he contributed to Billy’s abuse by leaving him at a horrible care-home.

I wonder if it's because of Stevie as to why Billy was abusive initially? Especially towards Jamie , because I believe that was the reason why Jamie arrived in the square, to escape Billy?
