I just find it very boring and silly how whenever someone finds out they are in the midst of a killer they decide to say "I'm going to tell the whole world about you" with the door locked and no way out.
It makes sense when you remember that Tina recognized the domestic abuse because she was abused by her own domestic partner and one of the common traits with abuse is that abusers get off on making you feel powerless and weak, they gaslight you and make you think you're weaker and lesser than you are so for Tina much like Chantelle seeing abusers like gray squirm and panic, seeing that cold calculating veneer they try and maintain fail and waver is empowering and gives them courage and strength Unfortunately it got her too carried away.
Can’t believe it , she’s always been a background character and now she shows her true potential they kill her off , he needs to be found out sooner rather than later
That's what Kate Oates and Jon Sen have been doing all along : killing off characters who had lots of potentials (Hunter, Mel, Denny and now Tina) who are all played by engaging and brilliant actors while letting Gray (one of the worst actors to ever grace the show) getting away with his crimes 😡😡😡😡 just because Toby Alexander Smith is good looking and sexy.
One of the only reasons Tina actually died was because the actor wanted to stop acting for Eastenders, so they had to kill her off or make her leave the country.
@@joepapa6829 They axed the character, she didn't leave on her own and I remember back in "Secrets from the Square" when Stacey Dooley asked Luisa about what's next for Tina she replied that Tina wants a new love, there weren't any hints about moving in new house or to linked with Gray's storyline so apparently they changed the initial plans for Tina's new love life and decided to axe her.
@@joshappleton4400 I think the domestic abuse storyline was well portrayed until Chantelle died. However victims of abuse sometimes don’t make it out alive aka Chantelle and abusers such as Gray carry on to commit more crime because they are bad people all together
Tina was coming into her own character and then they kill her and this is what I’m most worried about is that making Gray a serial killer could make women or men too scared to speak about abuse, the reason they do this storyline is for awareness and I feel like doing this has ruined the point of the storyline

I don’t mind them killing Tina but this whole bullshit of a person telling somebody they know is a murderer “I am gonna expose you and tell everybody you are a dangerous killer” to their face is an insult to viewer😂 why would anybody do that? It’s so dumb
It actually makes far more sense here, Tina herself is an abuse victim and survivor, and one of the features of domestic abusers is their ability to make you feel powerless, weak, and subservient so for Tina, having power over Gray an abuser, and not just power but seeing him panic and squirm and that cold calm demeanor abusers like to maintain to cover their darker nature break gives her a lot of power and control, which is something domestic abuse victims farley have and or are familiar with and she got too cocky
Yeah, they've treated Chantelle's storyline storyline as a ridiculous plot device to turn the attention off of the domestic abuse to be about a serial killer story, and they treated Bex's suicide storyline as a plot device to kick off that gangster shit in autumn/winter 2019 between Martin and the Mitchells. Kate Oates and Jon Sen don't care about domestic abuse victims nor do they care about those who feel pressured to succeed in university and might take their lives. It's all virtue signaling and PC bullshit to grab some awards her and there and boost the show's declining ratings.
With Lucas returning if gray kills one more person that’s two serial killers on the square at once and several more characters who have killed people in their time, statistically Albert square must be a more dangerous place to live than the slums in Brazil
Hated this episode. I think they've destroyed the message of domestic abuse by turning gray Into a serial killer. Hate jon sen. Gone downhill since he became exc producer

He also ruined the marriage for mick and linda. They could have done a story where linda supported mick like mick supported her with dean

Well there's gonna be Karen, Mitch, Keegan, Shirley, Mick, Kheerat and Whitney out for his blood when the truth comes out because he's killed Chantelle, Tina and Kush. Now he's married to Chelsea has her brainwashed now Denise and Jack will coming to her rescue when the truth comes out about Gray.
Cant belive he murdered Tina and she was about to tell everyone. This is gonna be like Lucass storyline. Shirley and Mick will be very sad that she died.

I actually like how anti climatic it is. Like Tina is hardly a main character and she didn't really change as a character; she was a airhead from beginning to end. I mean yeah kind sad she didn't really get a emotional death scene but not every death is a grand epic one with a dramatic speech while being cradled in loved ones arms for five minutes (hate those scenes ).
I don’t even watch Eastenders and this was a shit storyline! Why waste a character like Tina on this forgettable storyline? Stop hiring BTEC Creative Writing students to write the storylines 😂
Considering the fact that Tina wasn't given any major storylines since 2017 and all her big stories were 3 or 4 so she wasn't a burnt out or overused character like the Mitchells, they could've done a lot with her and take the character in exciting new direction but they kept putting her on the sidelines and decided to kill her off just like how they did to Denny in the anniversary week. Kate Oates and Jon Sen need to pack their bags and leave asap.
