I wish something like this existed where I live. Home detoxes and stuff. I know in some countries you can just go to the doctor for benzos to get off it. Here you're put on massive waiting lists for a year plus. Even then the process takes so long. Drug addicts get help pretty easily and there's various clinics. Alcoholism not so much.
Unfortunately his actor had passed away, I think last year. I’m pretty sure he was in very first episode of eastenders and made a few appearances in past years ago until he came back in 2018/19 and his character died in the show.
