It's hearing Stacey saying Bradley's name and crying. You can hear in her voice the pain. She always felt safe with Bradley. Such good acting. Bipolar is exactly like this and if anyone is struggling talk to someone that you trust.
I agree, even though she slept with his dad, it was Bradley who was the love of her life and vice versa, Bradley was kidding himself thinking he could move on with Syd. I wish they’d never killed him off, it would’ve been lovely to see the two of them stay married and him father her children instead of multiple men
It's jean saying don't hurt her. She just wanted to keep her little girl safe. Always makes me cry. I had anorexia for 20 years and I put my mum through hell. She did the same just wanted me to be safe so I didn't hurt myself anymore. I'm sorry mum for all the pain I caused you. Thank you for being patient, loyal and importantly giving me the treatment I needed.
Lacey Turner is brilliant in Eastenders as Stacey. She played the sectioning scene to perfection . I cried when I first watched it. And I cried again seeing this clip again. I remember Lacey saying she did a lot of research into Stacey mental health issues. Well done Lacey.
The storyline of stacey saving Jean then Jean saving Stacey is so touching and so true to life, bi polar is a very difficult illness but Eastenders got this spot on, as a sufferer myself i could relate so much, thank you for highlighting how awful it is, well done 👏 crying watching it 😢 x
Never even watched this show nor do I have a clue what it is or what it's about, no clue whatsoever but... This scene sigh... This scene really hit home... When she called out Bradley I immediately cried, it reminded me of my lil cousin screaming my name out loud when she was being violated by her grandfather. I'll never forget that, this scene opened up a lot of scars.
Weird how society turns people like "YOU WANT ME TO GO TO A HOSPITAL?! NOOOOOO" as if hospital is the worst thing ever. This real life situation is actually highlighting problems within society. People shouldn't fear getting medical treatment. Unfortunately the treatment is handled wrong. This coming from personal experience.
Lacey turner is always been a great talented actress She wasn’t arrested she was sectioned under the mental health act and you can hear her screaming for her boyfriend to come and help her but he can’t whilst she is arrested and taken away
This was well acted by Stacey but I have one major problem it was clear Stacey had no clue who any of the 3 who was there to carry out the section was as she had to be introduced but under section 2 of the mental health act 1983 to be able to place someone under a section the following criteria must be meat there must be at least 1 AMHP and 2 doctors one of who must know you for example your GP. Well it clear she knew none of them so rules where not followed.
When Jean cried when Stacey officially got sectioned had me in tears. The acting here is phenomenal Also why did the police officer just stand there when she was threatening her GP with the lamp. He should have restrained her
Only on Eastenders could a GP section someone. Also, he’s saying to her like she’s being arrested. They would say it to her at the hospital, if she was well enough to understand it, which at that point, she probably wasn’t.
It's hearing the pain in Stacey's voice saying Bradley. She's always felt safe with Bradley. Bipolar is exactly like this an I know cuz my friend has it and she has random outbursts at college and me and my friends have to physically calm her down otherwise she will lash out
Nice aggressive police and their "COME 'ERE!" and ferocious faces whilst they're restraining her. Good job they don't really treat mentally ill people like that...
Why do they never show the full real side of all this! The triggers, sh, od and section 136? They’re always sectioned straight away and that doesn’t always happen! Fair enough Stacey couldn’t be 136’d cause she’s at home but in a public place they can be 136’d
There was a very long storyline leading up to this. Not sure what you’re talking about. They showed all of that. She was deteriorating for months, on and off medication etc before she was sectioned.
RIDICULOUS.. when, in the UK can anyone get help, specially for mental health, just like that ! Takes months to get admitted, months to see a doctor, months to even get assessed. The nhs is useless, wining, winging staff.. never been any good. 😂
@Brett-With-Naturekind of an older joke now but still humourous A commercial that primered during the Superbowl a few years back When a person is grouchy,bi,@@hy,whiny,cranky etc they are told to eat a Snickers and they turn into a pleasent person ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dbpFpjLVabA.htmlsi=CIXbYGT2Sc1C2idO
I AM ALREADY DREADING THE THE DAY THAT I TOO COULD END UP BEING WRONGLY SECTIONED AND DETAINED BY THE MENTAL HEALTH ACT FOR BEING AUTISTIC THROUGH NO FAULT OF MY OWN!!
I sympathise with Stacey because she is being WRONGLY sectioned by so called mental health experts & I would NOT WISH anything like this on my Worst enemy End of !!!!!!!
This is One example of what could be happening to me as shared lives (formerly Adult placement) "STILL " want to have me locked up in a mental home Because "THEY" WRONGLY ASSUME I have a mental illness even though I only have Autism and learning disabilities I am afraid this will happen to me any day Now!!!!
