Hey Angela and Dan! We’ve recreated your favourite Gin and Ginger Ale drink and it is now one of ours. It is henceforth referred to as “a Trudgian”, thank you for sharing it!
Born and bred in Wales, glad you enjoyed the Welsh whisky and gin, all it needed was a few rugby songs to finish it off! Great video, as always. 73 & 88
Happy Birthday Angela. Wow this video tickled me so much 😂 your weekend seems very similar to ours, we love a good distillery or farm shop/butchers and sample the local produce, love going round and having a potter. There are some great waterfalls about in Wales, much better to do them in the spring/autumn/winter, we did one in the lakes last year and I nearly died walking up 😂. Looking forward to part 2 👍
Happy birthday Angela. Thanks for all the information. We are due to go to the same site in May as part of our “Welsh Womble”, so we now have loads of new ideas and suppliers to look out for. Looking forward to part 2.
Happy birthday Angela. My old stomping ground mate. I'm from South Wales originally. Mum and Dad had an old caravan nr the river Usk. Good fishing. I also did part of my military training in the beacons. Thank you for sharing. I live in North Wales now. Some good sites nr us. Can help with deals if you ever fancy it.
Happy belated birthday Angela, .One of our go to sites, only an hour away.Had a fabulous T bone steak from that butchers. We had Easter in the Elan Valley, so noy that far from you.Did meet you Dan in Tewkesbury, last August Bank Holiday, catch you again sometime.
Lovely part of the country! When we were there last year we saw a lot of waterfalls!! Mainly down the outside of the front windows of the van!! It's worth it for the superb scenery. One thing, could you not have found a bigger knife to open the lamb steaks? All the best.
I had this about the breakfast in Scotland. I asked for a full English breakfast. She said be careful remember where you are 😮. On that basis if I asked for a paella do I have to ask for a Scottish paella 🤷🏼♂️😂. If I was in Spain I can ask for a Full English.
Lovely video, I must tell our friends about the distillery, we need a village campers visit there. Linted mamb steaks forever 😂. My husband is obsessed with waterfalls so we definitely need that app. Looking forward to the next one.
ha, yes we realised after the games we had it wrong, this was all part of Mrs T cheating strategy im sure. Get me drunk, play the wrong colour, lay the board out wrong.... gotta watch these hustlers!! Do try the drink, its fab!!!
Hi Dan. On the subject of whiskey my favourites like you are scotch peaty smoke whiskey closely followed by Japanese whiskey. Noticed you had cotswold gin. A must try cotswold whiskey it's up there with a good quality scotch 😊
Hi, this isn't related to your vlog but could you at some point do an awning video please. We have just purchased an isabella magnum awning and we're not sure if the storm straps go inside or out. Highbridge told us in but there's some Isabella videos which show outside 🤔. I have asked the question to Isabella. It seems all awnings are different!! Thank you. BTW the lamb looked delicious 😋
That Lamb looked really tasty, on another note Dan have you ever had a issue with plastic double hinge pin on Dometic fridge door snapping i have a replacement one but would like to know best way to replace ?
You are not supposed to give out ages. Am disappointed that you didn't film on the way Iam not from UK & would like to see it & from the map as well oh well next time? Have a good one❤😊
You need to try Octomore. Ppm starts about 150. £100+ per bottle. Only one thing you add to it.......more whisky!! Penderyn use ex Laphroaig casks to put the whisky in. 🥃🥃
Hi Dan just a quick question Are you and Angela still using the Duvalay mattress topper for bed As husband has started with bad back and states bed in caravan to hard then remembered you got mattress toppers so looked back in videos until found it Just thought to ask if you still use the duvalay topper still
You do realise you are corrupting us with all this food and drink 😂 we are taking our new caravan for its maiden trip next week and feel a need to pinch some of your ideas, and it will be so difficult for us...not. We are going to Banchory in Aberdeenshire which is an hour and a half away. Should find something there 🤔 hope you had a good break in Wales and a belated happy birthday Angela. Love your videos
Just a thought how you enjoying pulling twin wheeler and 8ft wide caravan Ours is 71/2 ft wide 26ft long twin wheeler Husband says she's the easiest caravan he's ever pulled doesn't bounce or drag when wagons overtake Also the space in caravan with being wide and long Have you noticed difference with going to 8ft wide caravan
Happy birthday Angela 🎉🎉🎉 Both you and Dan mentioned to went to the crystal shop and I did notice the book in the back ground is it a good book worth a read
@@TheTrudgians Thank you Dan I might just have to get that one then plus I just want to say my husband and I are getting our first caravan for us and our 5 children I want to say your video's are very informative Very helpful 👌
Hi Dan, Have you done a comparison on the change in fuel since going to a twin-axle? Did you notice much difference in towing, like tiredness or draining when towing a large van?
Yes, i have filmed a "Whats it like" video on the new caravan, in terms of MPG, weve dropped about 3 - 5 miles per gallon. Which, i dont think is too bad for a 2 tonne 'van. Our car, is a thirsty beast anyway and on this trip to and from the campsite, i averaged about 22MPG.
@@TheTrudgians Thanks. We have a Luna 460 twin birth, but I managed to get 32-24 MPG. I am thinking about going for a TA and what impact it would have etc. More space but a TA might be harder to setup etc. Still thinking about an upgrade though, as the fixed bed and more space is tempting.
