Agree, it’s a fabulous site. One of my favourites. Excellent dog walk, great kids play area and a lovely local pub with great food to walk to. And even after three stays there is still loads more in the area to see and do.
We absolutely love Wales. In fact, we're caravanning near Builth Wells for a week in June, revisiting old haunts we visited several times in times past, then on to Somerset for a week.
We stayed in Brecon last March at the Aberbran site we had a good weather day so climbed up to Pen y fan amazing views and not too hard a walk! Also throughly recommend the Big Pit at Bleanavon with a trip down into the mine!
Looking at the window behind you. Have uou added a flat (extending?) rail with voiles on?? I really like that. Are they gripping or fitted onto hooks/hangers,? T Y PS brilliant rainbow!! X
Been there many years ago before it became motor, caravan club site. Next time depending on weather you can walk from site and along the Canal to Brecon. Also car trip to Llangorse lake. Enjoy
Will you definitely go back mate? Don't forget, try up this way. Some nice sites up here. Tywyn we are. Nr Aberdovey. Wonderful area, nice scenery. Not an awful lot to do i suppose. Narrow guage railway is good.
Great site. Used to go there before CAMC took over. Brilliant walk on the tow path towards Brecon or the other way towards pencelli. Shame about the good ol Welsh weather mind!
I sent you a messenger message giving advice on things to do around Brecon but I don't think you read messenger posts. I'm 82 and I lived in Penderyn for 50 years. I really enjoyed your blogging about your Brecon Trip
