I really like how you cut you reports, so that they dont get so long like others. I think that way it really is enjoyable to watch a battle report. Good on ya
Beautiful looking armys ✔ Spot on tables ✔ Sympatic commentary ✔ Transparent tactics ✔ No background music ✔ Enjoyable length ✔ Just great work on these Battlereports! Only I'd love some infos in the description: army lists, links of terrain, player profiles where you can see the armys. And I really liked when there is some short face to face live commentary between the fights. Enjoying your content, cheers guys!
Just want to say that you and zorpazorp got me back into the hobby after 15 years out and I'm playing my first game with iron hills on the weekend! Love your content and it's really helped me! Thank you!
Just wanted to echo some of the comments. This length of video for a battle report is perfect. The terrain is good, the length of video is good, the painting is unreal. Its just perfect. I feel like I can keep up with each part of the game but its not dragged down.
Love to see the Easterlings. They're the army I want the most. I'm trying to get some of my 40k friends into MEBSG- such a great game, and your battle-reports are also great!
One of my favorite bat reps that I've seen on youtube, and it has my two favorite armies! I'm about to go check out the rest of your channel. Keep up the great work!
Amdur hated rolling 6's! Wondering whether he should have two handed for that first combat phase and not have struck up but loved the duel for sure. When the dragon knight was dismounted he has unyielding combat stance so would not have been knocked prone and therefore not taken the S3 hit on a 4+. Thanks for the content really enjoy the battle reports they are so streamlined, can see a lot of effort goes in :) .
In retrospect I think not striking and two handing the first turn of combat might have been the best way to go with him! And you are totally correct about unyielding combat stance I missed it
awesome! really fun to watch i was hoping for easterlings to win but I totally knew their s3 was just not enought against dwarves 😅🤣 thx for making these videos 🥰
We had a big chat about it after the game off camera. The key thing that he said was that I spread the Easterling Phalanx to thin. Rather than using them as Pikes I simply had a regular shield wall so wasn't getting the most out of the armies strengths. Also we both agreed that the dragon knight should have called a heroic move the turn he got caught so he could have ran around the back and pressured the objective
Great battle report, congrats! I am rooting for Easterling since they are usually the underdog, so I must ask: why calling the first strike with amdur? You needed the might to win the duel. I don’t think it makes sense from a statistical point of view to call that first strike, but maybe I am missing something...
My thinking was that Jordy only had 5 might in his army whereas I had 7 so I was happy to drain his might. But then I sent the Dragon knight wide where his 2 might wasn't helpful. It was a mis calculation on my part. If I had the spare might I would have been able to kill Balin
Thanks for the comment. I think Kazadum are great they have an awesome tournament record. Check out this video I put every army into a tier ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-s62pfm7xyuY.html
Some really bad luck for dice with amdur against barlin me and my friend have the same armies in bigger points game 700-800 I run Khamul in there on fellbeast adds alot to the easterlings with magic and combat my friend just shoves more vault wardens in haha but floi is also a really good shout out for dwarfs too for shutting banners or wargear off
Hello im new. I was wondering as a casual player could I kinda merge to legoins as i have the fellowship of the Ring and warriors of rivendell but no heros of rivendelll so could i have legolas with 5 high elves?
Its just a different game to AoS. Rather than having 30 models act together as a squad like they do in AoS every single model is individual. Middle Earth is more of a skirmish game where micro decisions are as important as macro decisions. I really like that it is lower model count than some other games it makes it really easy to collect an army!
I don't know about everyone else but this video has really quiet audio and also has inconsistent audio by getting louder and louder audio as it went on
