To the people here asking about the Sonnagar - Dankuni section, this section was initially planned to be constructed under the PPP model but despite gov.'s repeated attempts no private player came up so it was not constructed so far. Just a few months ago gov. finally relented and have gave funding to the railways to complete section on their own upto New Andal junction at Jharkhand-West bengal Border.
In Bengal, New Land acquisition is very low for central government projects, The state government is not cooperating and just like Maharashtra, the local politicians are demanding the farmers to not sell the land, Deja vu of TATA NANO factory. So Indian railways have been using the pre-existing land of railways since British era but another problem is that a portion of it is illegally possessed by local land mafia/politicians + Gunda gang and Rohingya + Bangladeshis and State government support them, obviously. Another Thing, In few places State Government made few Village roads on Railway land and Now for those local villagers the Central Government is trying to take away an Important road which they use almost daily. Central Govt tried PPP model, but Private companies know what happened to Tata so no one is interested.
Jab mamta didi tata jaise acche group ko pareshaan kar sakti hai phir koi aur private player kaise bengal main invest karke jokham lega Iske liye bengal government jimmedaar hai only.
In last 9 years current indian government doing fantastic job towards development of roads railways air water ways energy and defence sector is key for industrial revolution logistics. Digital economy is one of best work done by current indian government. Digital economy Electricity @ railway Vande bharat Port development Border roads Varanasi mathura agra tourism development 17 cities now have metro , DFC Airport development Good work list is endless Good work by current indian government.. EDFC is not completed fully as jharkhand and weat bengal & some parts of bihar construction is too slow which may take more years to complete so it can't be said edfc is fully completed.
For people confused about Sonnagar-Dankuni section the phase is scraped by dffcil and Indian railways due to land acquisition issues in Bengal and Jharkhand. They are rather going for brownfield dedicated 2* track expansion on existing indian railways Delhi Howrah Mainline.
@@arjavgarg5801 those tracks will be mostly prioritized for freight trains similar to how some tracks are mostly used for locals in Mumbai Suburban railway except for overtaking.
@@arjavgarg5801actually those tracks are already used for carrying out the Mining Meterials in WB and Jharkhand, so my be it will be not a too much problems
@@TheBharat645 yes but they will need to expand by 2 additional tracks Delhi Howrah mainline is already reaching it's saturation point and carries a third of indian railways traffic

EDFC project also must starts on North East regions Ghawahti which is very important international business hubs connect at borders of Nepal / Bhutan / Myanmar / Thailand etc,,..
Dear Indian brothers and sister, We must all strive hard to build a developed India for ourselves and our future generations and make the vision of our forefathers come true. If we don't do the right things today, our future generations will curse us for not working hard enough to make India a better country. Even if India manages to become a developed country, we must not stop growing. As Mahatma Gandhiji once said: "The future depends on what we do today" Jaihind, Jai bharat 🇮🇳
Gandhiji also said non violence is the ultimate solution and supported , urged indian soldiers to fight for britishers in WW2.. If hypocrite has a face it would be gandhi and barak obama. So never ever quote that MC BC gandhi quotations

how tho? People say do that heavily into everything. go heavily in space program, semiconductors, extracting rare materials, solar power, wifi connectivity, heavily in missiles, drones, bulletproof armor, better armored vehicles, ships and submarines, cyber security, everything in military. Go heavily in education, roads, highways, digitization, trains, public transport, all transport sectors. How? the govt is trying to do that and the only thing going up very fast is our debt. Land acquisition is a nightmare as long as that raanddd is in power in waste bengal dont expect anything. Railway can only build on the land it already owns, but even there the bongoli rohingya mullahs have encroached upon. Also building anything new in kolkata would be an even bigger nightmare. Govt should actually look at odisha ports and divert the corridor to odisha.
#AskPT: Is there any proposal for more DFC as I live in Chhattisgarh and trains in SECR are getting delayed or cancelled due to heavy freight train traffic and track maintenance.
see SECR & in some parts of SER, trains getting delayed or cancelled due to heavy freight train traffic and track maintenance is very common as the above zones serve areas that are extremely mineral rich so Goods trains are being given priority.
#AskPT: What about agriculture in the future if we are constructing roads, railway should goverment also invest in farming infra like training of farmer to grow food in hydroponic farm and the reality is if someone want to do but it is very costly What is your opinion ? - Devesh
Bringing any reforms in agriculture is political suicide and without marketing and other structural reforms, nothing much gonna change.... Anyway agriculture isn't a very productive economic sector anyway, developed country have less than 5% population in agriculture, china has less than 20%, we have over 45%... So in long term we must shift workers from agri to industry and focus on bigger farms with mechanization along with reforms.... No "Krishi pradhan desh" can become modern developed country and its harsh reality...

@@Rising._.Thunder Or either u r the one who is trying to be oversmart here. I didn't say don't move to manufacturing. If state govt not focus then work slow, same problem with Rrts project is slow in Delhi side but fast in up side because kejriwal is in Delhi but in up there is Yogi.
WDFC will take another decade. Because it connects Maharashtra and Mumbai, where builders and politicians have hold over properties, and it becomes difficult for government to acquire land for public projects
Just like the Bullet Train project 2017 mei start hona tha aur 2022 mei khatam but abhi tak nahi hua and next deadline 2026 ka hai. Governments make promises but no Government implements in the time they promise.

Even many people say that Mumbai Metro is too costly and will not be successful.
No PPP player agreed to do that and finally IR decided to do it on its own (The reason no one participated shouldn't be a Suprise either).
