to me, central Europe is Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Austria, Slovenia, and Hungary. Romania is more Balkan or eastern than V4 and west, and Konigsberg is baltic.
I'm ashkenazi, meaning my family comes originally from eastern europe (although they weren't european, the locals made sure to tell them that). Now, since more than half of them are from Poland (specificaly Galicia) Poland is in eastern Europe, as are Austria (it's literally in the name) and germany around Berlin. Deal with it.
