Eastleigh was founded in 1921. At this time, it was formally called Nairobi East Township. While the colonial government originally tried to segregate citizens by race and ethnicity, failures at doing so in the Eastleigh neighbourhood more or less stopped the practice under colonial rule, so class became the general segregating factor afterwards

It's time Nairobi residents stood up and demanded that the county government did it's gob by placing HUGE Garbage containers at every ideal location and its commodities picked up on a weekly basis, unattended cattle be impounded, as it's a violation of city bylaws to have them roam around the city. Failure to do so, the city residents and the business community should gang up and withhold their taxes.

The garbage and road infrasture takes away the sine of eastliegh. What happened to the green workers. Easteligh does not have any. I honestly blame the business leaders in eastleight for failure to put their foot down and tell the county they contribute 30% of County revenue yet not even one dustbin can be seen . Roads and sidewalks are pathetic. Sidewalks need cabro. There should be no dirt sidewalks. Come on eastliegh leaders demand what is yours like karen folk who refused to pay fees until the county provided services

I think the businesses there can organise cleaning people to clean every day and take the rubbish to recycling facility. Gold in trash becomes just trash.
