Yeah, I saw one of the recent Japanese produced reissues for a backbreaking price - this at least is a reasonable price and this guitar was played by a lot of other notable players besides the well known McGeoch. Nice one, Eastwood!

He is such an underrated player indeed.. He really added the magic and mystery in many Siouxie's songs with his creative approach to chords riffs and leads..

Too bad Yamaha isn’t! This guitar is still in production in Japan...

He was a great film star.

This version is sacrilegious on a guitar that was supposed to be released as a tribute.

I got one when they came out. It became my main guitar immediately. Its brilliant.

Adrian does do a fine job on his McGeoch stuff. It's thanks to him I learned to play "Spellbound" while I was waiting for my SG1000 to arrive a couple of years ago.

@dark days normally I would agree with you, but I think T W makes a good point. Nothing wrong with paying respect, and this guy is an amazing guitar player, probably more traditionally and technically skilled even than McGeoch was. But he really cheesed this up to a ridiculous degree. He took a post-punk classic and injected it with a mixture of 80s butt rock and derivative blues riff wankery. Classic example of overplaying with no intuitive grasp for the feel of the song.

This guy is good at what he does but his playing has got zero to do with post punk, and that's the style of music McGeoch played, and the style of music people will be buying this guitar for. It's like getting a classical guitarist to demo a Billy Gibbons signature model. Makes no sense at all. Eastwood have got the marketing ass backward on this.

yeh is fucking awful this rendition..embarrassingly bad. Every cheesy lick under the sun thrown in.

It's hard to find one that hasn't been beat to heck. I've been looking for a long time.
