Liz from London ont just love your teaching skill I made a few of these books thank you for making one with us step by step way to go Blessing thanks for sharing your gifts love Liz
As well as providing inspiration, your tutorials never fail to instantly relax and calm me. They seem so reassuring, and peaceful, they're fantastic. Thank you so much for posting. 🙂
Hi Liz! I'm new to scrapbooking but ever since I've subscribed to your channel I am so inspired to use all the paper and tiny little bits and pieces that I have collected over the years. I love this little booklet and love the way you teach! I can't wait to finish mine! :-)
Yes PLEASE film the rest of the decorating. I am definitely a fan of unedited videos and like seeing any oopsies that might occur and how to remedy because chances are they will also happen to me. I watched this, went to My Porch Prints and watched the video (which is also adorable), purchased the kit and plan to use your style for my first one starting today. These will be fantastic Christmas gifts for my family and friends and easy to personalize. Fussy cutting is not my favorite thing either, but it does keep my hands busy while watching. LOL TFS and stay safe. P.
Love the way you did this and can't wait to make one of my own. I like that you show how you share the process of decoration and always learn something new. I think I learn better if I can follow a teacher actually doing a project. Thank you so much.
Ohhhhhhhh that pot, how gorgeously beautiful. I had the biggest smile on my face when I saw you pull the flowers out of it as you were showing what you had made. Fabulous. Love, love, love your project Liz.
Hi Liz, I have a Brother Scan and cut, I suffer with fibromyalgia, so cutting is sometimes very difficult, if you wanted to be able to fussy cut your papers I think it’s the best one, it will just scan it and cut it out, or you can load from a computer and cut it out, they are brilliant
What a fun little notebook to make, I goofed & put the hinge on the front cover wrong so my front cover is shorter but looks great for a different look... it will fit in any journal or make more hinged pages for a big journal... this is the easiest hinged book I’ve ever made...thanks...
Thank you for showing how to make this adorable album....it's the first time I've seen that cut out slot system, what a brilliant idea for different height ephemera! I have watched many tutorials but not yet made an album. Today you certainly have inspired🤗
This is so pretty and what a great way to use 6x6 pads!! I enjoy seeing you pick and choose your papers & ephemera and listening to you talk as you craft. If I get to a place that I want to speed up it’s easy to do with the “fast-forward” feature! TYFS! ❤️🦋💜
Good morning Liz! What a fabulous mini! Great idea for snail mail. Love the paper collection. Thank you so much for showing us i will be getting into my craft room later and will definitely be giving this a go! Have a blessed day take care. 🌹❤️
I use a lot of floral ephemera in my projects, and I can’t thank you enough for the pot idea! Now I have an alternative to just putting my florals in pockets! Thanks so much Liz!! ❤️
Love this project Liz - so simple to make and yet so satisfying when finished. Great use of our 6x6 or 12x12's cut down. Fun watching your decisions as ou craft too. Thanks for sharing.
Oh Liz this is so beautiful.. thank you so much for mentioning me in your video..you inspire me so much.. I am in love with my porch prints Digital kits.. I have the brother scan and cut and I don’t think I could live without it now because of my arthritis that machine is a lifesaver well worth the investment..🥰😍
Hi Paula, Thank you so much for your kind words, I am equally inspired by your creations! I think the scan and cut is so far the most popular one and it might have to go on my birthday list! Hugs :-)
Hello Sandra, I’m sorry to say, I spent the 90 day warranty on the Cricut. Then returned it. I spent HOURS and 3 months to learn the Cricut. 😖If they had a class to take at Joanne or Hobby Lobby. Even Michaels, I’m sure i would still have it. I was so frustrated because what I needed was a booklet included / or like I said, get a class. Now the bad news- not 3 weeks after returning it, my Joanne’s was doing 4 level 1 classes. Cost with coupon $15.00. I’m typically both hands hands on, or follow an instructor/ read directions
I love this project, it is so adorable and relatively simple. Thank you for sharing your designs and detailed instructions, as I will try to make one of these. Lovely.
What fun morsels, Liz!!! Each element is charming!!! Posted to my Journaling styles & techniques Pinterest board!! Lots to learn here!! Brilliant idea!!! TFS!!!🌻💕XX
What a great & fun easy tutorial!!! Definitely will be making one soon. I'm one of the ones who don't find fussy cutting relaxing lol!! And it because I'm simply not good at it & I end up getting nervous instead but having one of those scan & cut machines must be awesome!! Thank you for the inspiration for this beautiful booklet;)
Love this idea, might have to try it. 💕💕💕 I recently got myself a Cricut Explore Air 2, it is fabulous for cutting fiddly things, my hands get sore with too much cutting. I would recommend it 👍
This is so pretty and cute! I love watching your tutorials!! Thank you so much for sharing 💖 Definitely I would love to see more😆 I’m making your envelope junk journal now and it is so much fun but I can’t figure out all the pocket parts 😅
I always experience crafting the filefolder too thick, too heavy with glue or doublesided tape. I know the designpaper is the fault depending the thickness of the paper. I never thought of making hinges. Thats really clever !!! Thank You !
Excellent book tutorial with your easy to follow instructions. I will be making this today. FYI is there a problem with your volume? My volume is turned up to the max and I'm having difficulty hearing you. Just sharing. Thanks
Thank you. :-) The odd person may have problems with the volume depending on the device they use to watch videos. So far I have not heard anyone else have issues with the volume of this video. Thanks for watching. :-)
I just watched a older video of a beginner no sew journal that had a rose on the front. it was made using a manila folder. You had some links below and I tried them and two were not not good links. You mentioned the digitals were Vectoria Designs but I looked through her digitals and did not see the one you used on the front of the journal. Can you let me know what you used. I love that rose digital. I am enjoying binge watching your videos since I found you.
Hi Patricia, I will have to take a look. I am not sure, that video was made so long ago and you are the only one that has mentioned the links not working. yikes! Thanks for letting me know. Thanks for watching. :-)
Just bought the Gift Journal printables from My Porch Prints and was a bit intimidated. But I of course have a ton of 6x6 paper. Can you tell me what type of paper you printed on?
