I could watch this all day! Love the way you described how you reached your inspiration. That’s my favorite part of fiber arts...inspiration ❤️ beautiful colors. I’m in awe!
@@FiberLoveDiary omg really?... I can understand. I always buy yarn having something on my mind to make, and then it's just lost in the pile of unused yarn and unfinished projects.
I went to buy some of the fiber and it was out of stock, so I turned on the notifications! I'm sorry, but i'm not sure what the other colors were, because they were mixed up in my stock already.
What does this look like in a finished project? (I checked your Ravelry for handspun projects but wasn't sure anything posted was hand-painted or sparkly examples.)
There aren't any finished project pictures yet, because it's still in a hank. I haven't figured out yet how I want to use it, but right now, I am considering weaving it, so a video will come out when I do. If you subscribe, you'll get a notification. Thanks for checking!
I don't think I've talked about it before, but I have never scorched anything. I don't put my heat up very high, and I cover to keep the heat AND moisture in. Maybe I'm wrong, but I've always thought that keeping the water in helps protect it from scorching. Maybe I should be more careful!
@@FiberLoveDiary , I think the low temperature is probably what matters. I guess it's easy to let it go too high unless one is careful. I know I get in a hurry sometimes.
