Normally I don't comment on videos but I have to tell you that this is exactly what I am looking for. I am not an artist or animator, I just have some stories that I love to see as hard copies like comic books or an animation. And I am looking for videos about using these types of engines for simple animation. Every other videos focused more on the gaming or higher end animation. ❤❤Thank you for the video Sir, and you earn yourself a subscriber.

Hi Sw thanks for the comment and question. As this is a 3-4 part series there isn’t a final scene yet. The objective of this video was to just get setup and ready to create of first scene. Sorry if that’s not what you were expecting. Thanks again.

Hey nice video bro, but you can do this a lot easier in after effects. It has a 2.5d (3d) mode with 3d cameras and a animation system similar to joints to rig your characters with. But it’s faster and easier. To say the least…

Finding a genuinely helpful video in ANY OTHER software is a crap shoot. Unity though? Every video has been informative, even the by comparison less great ones.

Nice run through so far, but not sure why you are using unity as your animation system. What is it that unity does, or does more easily than other systems such as story boarding software or blender for example? Or you have experience in unity which means you already knew how to use it?

How much more time does it take to create 3D over 2D animation? I'm afraid I'm not going to live long enough to use 3D (I'm 80). Love the suggestion on putting foreground stuff on transparent layer (I'm planning on building 2D backgrounds separately so that's one element that is resisting change in Midjourney).

3D takes longer, a lot longer. The modeling, uv unwrapping, texturing, exporting, importing, rigging and animation all take more effort. I’m some sections it’s just a little more effort, like exporting and maybe uv unwrapping if you are using smart uv unwrap. In other areas, modeling texturing, rigging, it can add an hour to a day or two to your workflow, plus the benefits of using ai begin to wane as you move more fully into 3D. All that to say, their are lots of tools and lots of Ai assisted tools that will be making 3D workflows more streamlined. If you’re looking for the pure artistic touch, hopefully stop motion will remain out of touch of Ai for a long while. I mean, they’ve already been using sophisticated motion capture rigs for so long I’m not sure how a robot would help them further, maybe actually move the puppets ?! Long winded answer but it was a good question. Thanks again.

I did not know that we can change the aspect ratio in midjourney, good to know. I feel like it's not a good idea to generate a background from MJ since the details will not be good, maybe generating separate items like you did here is a better approach? What do you think.

Yes, there are a few different methods to achieve this. One of the more popular ways is to create a rendertexture asset attach a video to it and then target that texture in your camera, doing so will allow you to use it on a object. That was not a great description sorry, in short, yes, RU-vid had a few videos on using the rendertexture asset for video.

AI art is a huge insult to all creations not just arts. It cannot replace human because it lacks a lot of basic fundamentals. Stop promoting this ai art that does not create a real work only insulting it. It is just a fake cheap imitation of arts, the result is obviously horrible since it lacks knowing what it tries to draw or understand what it is and how it works. Real decent art came from a being that know what they are drawing and have a judgement and understanding of law of nature as well as knowing which is right and wrong. You guys only insulting everything creation by praising such terrible and the most insulting thing made for centuries ever and beyond
