After many requests, I am sharing my easy anti-aging skincare Routine. My mature skincare routine. Back in the 1920s, women strived to have pale, smooth skin as it made for the perfect canvas for the popular flapper makeup of the times. Hi Sandra, Your beautiful glowing complexion is an example of “less is more” when it comes to facial beauty products. My Mom and Grandmother both used Pond’s cleansing cream nightly and they had beautiful skin well into their 80’s. Albolene may be similar to Ponds. Appreciate your routine and list of products and also your facial exercises ....they are wonderful...and make such a difference. I have yet to try derma rolling. Thanks Sandra, I love your videos on skin care. I did buy the Greek oil after the first video I saw and I love it, it does make a difference. I agree with your comment on the Sun. I'm 77 and I have very few wrinkles and I am embarrassed to say I'm not consistent in my skin care, so I can't take any credit. It's all down to genes and staying out of the sun. But I love the idea of the rollers. They sound wonderful.

I also think it’s , very admirable of you for using AVON products, and admitting it; because I love Avon. Many people don’t realize, how wonderful they are, and how long they’ve been in business. You can still mix in, all the very expensive product’s which I do as well. Your skin is so, clean , and spotless looking, of course having a beautiful face helps. I was wondering if you, ever talk about diminishing age spots , on the hands, and arms, instead of putting makeup on your hands to cover them up, since I’m a new subscriber, of about two weeks. My daughter is an Avon rep and they have just been bought by LG and they’ve added so many different products to their line. I use Palmers fade cream on my arms and hands. I have age spots not just because of the sun but because of genetics. I am very fair skin and like my mother who never got in the sun, I am prone to age spots on my arms and hands. I don’t have any on my face because I protected it for many years. Thank you so much for the here and sharing your thoughts❤️

I have a roller that uses ice therapy. It is a cylinder that contains an ingredient that freezes, much like those packs one uses for cold packs. I pull it out of the freezer and rollover my face. It helps to reduce swelling and helps to invigorate the skin. It works just as the jade roller would, except using cold therapy.

I love simplicity. Gosh Sandra! I have been using Albolene to remove my make for since i was a teen. I've tried other cleansers & go back to good ole Albolene. My eldest sis....she's 81 has beautiful skin & gives all the credit to Noxzema. I have yet to give the the jade roller a try....going to try it. TFS

Hi Sandra, Does the color stick have any beeswax in the ingredients? I am allergic to it. I have checked the product ingredients and I know one of the sticks has beeswax. This is why I do not wear lipstick, but the boomstick would be ideal. Also, what does the derma roller do for your above your top lip? If you do not have wrinkles should you use it? I am getting the Jade roller.

Hello Sandra - such really helpful tips - thank you - new things to try! From my understanding the face has 'free floating' muscles that are not attached to anything - unlike the muscles in the rest of the body that are attached to bones or tendons or something like that - hence the reason our faces age first.

Any thoughts on Rose-hip seed oil or Carrot oil? Another influencer swears by it so I’ve been trying it for a month now. My skin is so soft...however it hasn’t helped existing wrinkles. You look great!

Lulu, I will tell you what others may not. We can soften wrinkles, make them less visible, but once a winkle, always a wrinkle. I have them now on my chin and I refuse to stop smiling. I can soften them, but only dermabrasion or other procedures might temporarily remove them. ❤️

Im all about non foaming cleansers , as foaming can strip skin of its natural.oils, only use foam if u have surface dryness.

I only use oil cleanser‘s. I never use water on my face because it strips the acid natural. It’s just a personal choice. I know people love water and feel that their face doesn’t get clean without it.❤️

I agree completely that facial exercise is essential. I can feel my eyelids and face begin to droop if I neglect exercises! I'm adding yours to the ones that I've done since my 30s (along with a few others I've added over the years). I'm 76 but often taken for much younger...

What do you think or know about the effects of HRT on the skin? Ads show women who are on it with healthier skin than those who are not? They say those who don't use it age faster. Not sure what to think about it.

Rose, I have never been on HRT. My middle daughter is and is happy with how she looks and feels. My older daughter is not on it and is happy with her choice. We also have several friends who have been on it and developed breast cancer. I’m not a doctor, so I can’t say. Speak to your gynecologist and get her/ his advice and do your own research. I have always been a natural aging woman, but that is just me. ❤️

Having pale skin used to mean that you didn't work aka wealthy, as most work was agricultural or aged you pretty early. Eventually being tan meant you didn't work, aka wealthy, since you had time to lounge around in the sun.
