Sorry mate, youtube shat itself the other day and wiped the descriptions of a few random vids www.ebay.co.uk/itm/255489043612?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=3VV3z-IwSoG&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=qW5AT9QyRXS&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
Is yours from before the facelift? The badges in my 2012 are faded and I want to change them. I see you can order a front badge like the one you changed and a rear with the lock mechanism. Can I just order 2 of the front badge and change them like you showed in the video?
I had this before on here mate, it's the exact same. It's not like there are wires sitting right behind the badge when you take it off, it works on the pressure when you push it. Go for it mate! 👍🏻 Soften it up with a heat gun/hairdryer, so you have less prying to do if you're worried
I got a Mito and to open to boot you need to press the badge. My question is if I do the same as you did will it still open when ill press the new badge?
Hi Ori, exact same as mine. Had another viewer ask the same thing and the buttons are no different. 74mm badge and you're all good 👍🏻 Thanks for watching
Hi, my badge is the boot button as well. I don't know if it's the exact same, but the function is no different. I would double check on the size of the badge, the ones I've fitted are 74mm diameter Thanks for watching
Nice! What colour car you got? I'm slowing changing everything to black Glad it helped, safer then going at the button surround with a flat head screwdriver!
@@marcus_motors_ mine is the black 1.4 petrol, 2012, 55k on the clock, cost me 3.5k and i love her :}, im really struggling with the display tho, i want it to tell me how many miles iv got in range but cant figure it out, new head unit next, keep the vids coming chief
If it's same as the giulietta, the button on the end of the right stalk. Press it until you see a car and fuel tank, that should have the miles left in the tank. Let me know hoe you get on with it Thanks, been very slow lately with the weather haha struggling to go out in it haha
@@marcus_motors_at first i didn t read his name and i thoght how can this nice guy with interesting videos can name someone like this for a simple question😂
I don't see why not, I just used one to soften up the glue. I would just be careful as it might take a little more prying and a bit more cleaning once you get the badge off. I think even a hairdryer would be enough just to help a bit 👍🏻
@@marcus_motors_ Just refreshing, placed same golden badge on the front and on the back. Thank you for your video and advices. btw. I have a dark blue 166 2.4 jtdm 20v 136 kw (after facelift)
Fair enough. I've gotta admit, I don't like the bronze on the giulietta but with a little older car, it looks great. Nice! Definitely prefer the face lift model
