I made this last night but instead only used 1/2 of the ranch seasoning packet. Once done,I put the rest of the cooked bacon, chopped green chilis, and green onions and served a piece of this over a bed of egg noodles and GIRL!! When I tell you this was THE BEST piece of baked chicken I have EVER had you can only trust and believe me. I almost felt the spirit leave my body it was THAT GOOD. Try this yall,it's economical and easy to make. Yasss girl, yass!!!
So my son and I are kinda sensitive to black pepper. I see that pepper is an ingredient for ranch seasoning. I can handle a little pepper, how strong is the pepper in your ranch seasoning?
In my younger years I worked in a deli. The cream cheese/bacon mixture we used to sell in pint containers as a dip. It’s addictive; definitely trying over chicken. Be great to double or triple that part of the recipe to serve with chips, crackers and/or veggies for a gathering….save a little time, less time in the kitchen 😊
I made this last night, we did enjoy it and will make again. However, the packet of ranch seasoning I used was way too salty - which is an issue for us as we need low or no sodium foods. I have researched home made ranch seaasoning that contains no sodium and will try that in future. Thank you for the recipe, it was a nice change. BTW, we bought an instant pot ( about 6 months ago) after watching your videos and we use it frequently.
Love your videos. We pretty much watch every one of your videos. This one however was over lit. I mean, wow, this video was nothing but a bright white light in my living room.
Looks so yummy, we are nit a fan of ranch dressing, but I think I’ll try this and not tell the hubby🤫. Also love your knife! Can I ask where you got it? TIA
I made this today my only feedback would be to maybe put less of the ranch seasoning and next time I make it I might add some jalapenos but it was easy and tasty.
@@deniseharwood9521 yeah, I was thinking either that or a little at the end after it's done baking, I'm sure it would be great either way! More bacon is never a bad thing
What happened to the rest of the bacon though? We have a bacon bandit at my house who will eat any bacon left sitting unattended in the kitchen but I thought we were the only ones!
@@Mimik8bee It was. I followed the link in the description to the recipe on her blog and that’s what it says. However, I did see another comment where the poster accused her of eating it herself and she laughingly confessed that she was guilty. 😂
It does look delicious. Unfortunately I have some critique. People come to RU-vid to learn if you do not mention that you wash your hands after touching chicken then that is remiss on your part. I am no stranger to using my hands as opposed to utensils while I'm cooking. Through the course of preparing a meal I will end up washing my hands multiple times.
The lighting in your latest videos are way too bright, or washes you and the food out because you're so white and you have a white countertop so it's kind of hard to look at. lower the lighting. Get a softer bulb.
