I've been watching your videos for years, and watched this one for the first time today. At the age of 55 I'm finally trying to figure out a skincare routine and how to wear makeup again. It's been 35 years since I've worn makeup, and I'm really floundering! I wish I knew what to do about my enormous pores that always look terrible! Thank you so much for your beginner videos! 🙂

Thank you thank you thank you. I am going on 49 and have barely worn make up over the past 7 or 8 years due to chronic illness. I have been avoiding putting it on and going out to dinner etc because ive aged and it's like I've forgotten how to do it. This video is exactly what I needed. Thank you so much for giving me my confidence back.

Great selection of products. I also like the L'oreal Infallible Pro Glow foundation. The consistency is thinner much like MAC Face & Body; it's each to apply and blend and the coverage is light to medium but you can build it up. Very easy to work with if you are a beginner or someone who doesn't wear makeup often. Enjoy!!

Do you find the Infallible lasts as long and as well as people claim? I need something that will really last and be comfortable in this Phoenix heat, and through a football game. Not sure that I have any long wear foundations at all. I usually don't wear make-up for as long, or through as much as this day I have coming up. 😬

Iam so grateful for this tutorial. I've been wanting to attempt make-up application for years now at 52 years! More specifically, eye shadow. Not sure why I've been so intimated to try it, but after watching your video I feel much more at ease and am going to give it a go! It's the end of October and being home for six months I've had nothing to do but watch tons of makeup tutorials. I've gotten tired of all the makeup and all the steps I was hoping I could find an easy tutorial for stay-at-home easy makeup. And lo and behold your video popped up on my selections, I enjoyed watching it so much I enjoyed the idea of paring down making things simpler and still looking good. Thank you it must have been Karma. You made me remember how a simple look can be so classy and timeless.

This is really great. It's very useful. I need to use a foundation for sensitive skin. I have very fair skin. The Covergirl Clean makeup sensitive skin series seems to be pretty good. I'm on a budget, and some more expensive makeups are still too dark for my skin. But I found some that might work. I use the Loreal Double Extension mascara since it's a tubing mascara that removes with heat.

Hi Kimberly just found you yesterday love your videos. Could you do a brow tutorial. I’m 63 and have the gray hairs showing up I was just plucking the gays hairs as they came in but have stopped doing that, So I need to learn how to cover the few gray hairs in my brows and then fill in the tail where it is more sparse. I did buy a brow Pencil from elf (one end has a spoolie). Also thanks for the tips on using a blending sponge. Never thought of using over my concealer after I’ve applied setting powder. Haven’t really used my sponge much. Do you get it wet first by running water over it or just use a spray bottle on it to dampen it?
