Another great video, Angie. I worked as an MA and surgical scrub for a great bunch of dermatologists for years and one important thing you need to share, is get that sunscreen on your eyebrows! You have no idea how many chunks of eyebrows we removed due to skin cancer. It leaves scars. Sunscreen your brows, ladies and gentlemen. Thanks. Angie. 💕

I just watched it again now as well. It's a great reminder how a few simple steps can have such a great effect. And Angie looks even prettier and younger in 2022! I wish I could afford an omnilux mask, because to me, that has been a game changer in her skincare. I have wrinkles around my mouth which are the bane of my existence, and there's very little that will disguise the darn things aargh!

@@ksc743 ugh ! I’ve used a straw to drink diet soda or coffee every day for years. The straw was to try to protect me teeth. But instead I got those wrinkles around my mouth that smokers get. Because sucking on the straw and smoking causes you to make the same motion with your mouth. Mine are bad ! But I don’t want to get them lasered or anything else. You are not your wrinkles and I’m sure people love you for being you

@@katrinat.3032 thanks Katrina! I saw a video where Angie discreetly places her index finger along her top lip when she uses a straw, to prevent that puckering. I realised what happened with me is I walk my dogs every afternoon, and (until I started watching Angie's videos) relied on the spf in my foundation to protect my skin. I have really great sunglasses, so my eyes have little to no lines, but as I walked, the area around my mouth perspired and I never reapplied sunscreen. Just shows what the sun does, much as I love it. Would LOve laser or omnilux but will just hope, as you say, I am loved despite my wrinkles!! Have a wonderful day🍃🌸

I’m in my early thirties and this video helped me a lot! I really like watching makeup videos for ladies in the 40 and 50 age range because they help me far more than the makeup videos that are out for my age. Thank you so so much for this, i'm 37 and never worn make up. Tried once as a kid to cover spots and wasn't the best experience when i was already being bullied, it was just added another thing to be picked on for. All the youtube videos I've bumped in to have been what seem to be pretty full coverage, it's good to see one that's about a more natural look, it's making me feel less nervous about trying.

Great tips! I usually do a full “no makeup” look that takes 30+ minutes. I dropped the eyeshadow routine, which I’m not very good at to begin with, and added the shimmer on my lower lashes instead. This is something I plan to continue for my day to day look. Always great, informative videos that I look forward to!

I really like cushion foundations & brow powder for ease of application & convenience. You don't even need a special powder for brows, if you've already got taupe or neutral brown eyeshadow you can just use that & then add clear gel if you need it. I've been hearing about cushion blushes & can't wait to try them too. Cushion products pack so easily & are easy to take with you if you need touch ups during the day ( great if it also contains spf)

Thanks so much Angie, your the best! I use to use BE but quit many years ago because of how dry my skin was becoming! I'm 54 and have combo skin. You are so informative and easy to understand. I also wanted to ask you if you've tried the Joah line at CVS! It's an awesome line of makeup exclusive to CVS. I've been mascara challenged my whole life, figuring I'd never find one that works for me. Joah mascara is AMAZING! So far I've tried mascara, brow pencil, & concealer, and I'm enjoying it a lot. I still love the maybelline rewind concealer, which I think you introduced me to years ago,,sponge and all 🤓. I bought the Charlotte tilbury concealer with sponge tip thinking I would surely love it even more than Maybelline. Nope. Coverage didn’t seem great and the sponge tip was too floppy. I love this video. I’m 27 & don’t wear makeup.. I will be in a commercial Saturday and they said do your own makeup. This eased my nerves lol just needed something simple for an office look

Thank you Angie, I moved to Florida several years ago & for me mineral makeup became my best friend. I started with Bare Minerals & it’s a keeper. More videos like this please.

Great video idea. I prefer a minimal makeup look and don’t wear foundation or concealer, so this was great for those special times I may want to add a little coverage.

Excellent video - and I think the look was gorgeous. I'm a "mature" woman, and wear a full face of makeup just about every day, but my skin has been going through some weird changes lately, (some due to my overzealous use of Retin A!), but have found that the foundation that looks the best, and doesn't settle in any of my lines (which are not "fine"), is the Laura Geller Baked Balance and Brighten. It does look a little "powdery" but if I add a finishing spray it's good! I have never tried Bare Minerals, but think I might give it a try. Not one of my liquid foundations is working for me at the moment, even my holy grail, Lancome Renergie.

Thanks for the tutorial. I love that there are videos out there for “woman of a certain age” :). My only commentary would be that I wish you used cruelty-free make up brands. Especially since you can positively influence a lot of people with the brands you promote.

I love the tip about the eyebrows. I have noticed actresses wearing a more straight brow but wasn’t sure if that was their natural brow shape or if it’s a new look. Thanks for clarifying the look and giving a great “how-to’s ” to accomplish this look. Now, I’ll change my ways. 😘 And I’m so grateful for mentioning this tip. I almost didn’t watch this episode because I usually wear makeup. But, thought I could always learn something especially for days I don’t want to wear makeup but, look better than I do naturally. Great tips...I will use them. And again, thanks...I appreciate all you do for those who subscribe/follow you on RU-vid!!! You’re the best.

I don't wear makeup but I'm going to be interviewing this week for a new job. After watching your video, I went out and bought all the products you recommended and am ready to wear this look. It's so simple but yet light and beautiful. Thank you for making this tutorial for someone like me who is very new to wearing makeup after many years.
