Yummy! I made one for the Fourth of July. I prefer to use sponge cake, store bought and it doesn't get very soggy. And I used strawberries and blueberries to keep the flag colors. It was perfect 👌and delicious. What I love about making a trifle? You can make it with whatever you like and there are so many, many, variations. So it's the perfect desert. Light, easy to prepare and a huge hit. You can also make it in a foil pan, if your taking it to an outside picnic, the beach, etc. Than simply, trash the container. ☺️

Your trifold very good and beautiful the problem with it after you made it you should’ve let it stay in the refrigerator for a few hours before you dug into it but you did a good job and you’re quite the funny lady enjoy your videos keep it up

the measurements you’re using in your website recipe is the same in the video or it’s the half ? because my bowl is the same as yours ❤️

Yes, it is! If memory serves, I actually made half what is listed and then I had to make more cream while filming to fill the dish. The measurements on the blog are the ones needed to make this particular dish (a large trifle)

Can you buy whipped cream (cool whip) and then fold in store bought lemon curd? I'm not a baker at all.......

Hi Kristin! It'll be different than homemade for sure, it has a different amount of air whipped in. However, you could absolutely do that! I haven't tried it personally, so please let me know how it turns out. 💛

Yes you can! Though, I'd defrost them and be sure they don't have too much excess moisture before adding them to the trifle. Enjoy!

How far in advance can you make this?

This can be made up to a week in advance. Yes, a whole week! It is delicious immediately but it does benefit from an overnight stay in the refrigerator to let the flavors begin to meld. Refrigerate until ready to use.
