Now see determining that point when it’s dry enough to not swell is tricky. It seems like if mines isn’t bone dry it will start to swell! But love your hair!❤

So happy to see Gray Hair that’s not short in the natural hair community. My Sister’s hair is the length of your and she does exactly what you do to her hair….Exactly. Not the same products but the same process and she has had natural hair for nearly 20 yrs. Her hair is also gorgeous!!! I don’t blow dry my hair or flat iron. I wear WnG in Summer and twists under head wraps in Winter. My length is just a little longer than yours when I have it in twists. I’ve been natural for barely 2 yrs. Watching you is encouraging regarding blow drying my hair. Thank you for this video!!

hay beautiful im a cosmetologist with 25yrs experience in hair care, i don't do it anymore but "cyn doll" on youtube is the only person id recommend AND ALSO THIS CHANNEL OFCOURSE, i respect this womans platform XOXO .. blow drying your hair isnt the enemy, heat isnt the enemy babe. pple using tools wrong is the problem. imagine using a condom wrong?? lol get my point. but "cyn doll " goes in depth why NEVER blow drying or pressing your hair is 10x more damaging than anything u could ever do and i 100% agree with what she saying. ive been natural for 20yrs and did my own experiments. including no heat for 2yrs. all imma say is black women been duped again :( i know the SCIENCE of hair... once u kno science these trends online look illogical

@@newworldlord643 Thank you for the insights and encouragement. I wore my hair relaxed for over 40 yrs. It’s sad to say but I never even washed my own hair in all that time…..I ALWAYS went to my stylist for all my hair care needs…..including regular shampooing. When I went natural, it was a “major deal” for me. I quickly realized that I didn’t know anything about my own hair!!! I have been a stellar student here at RU-vid University and I am proud to say I’ve become best friends with my natural strands. LOL That said, I am terrified of losing my natural curl pattern to heat damage because….Surprisingly, I really like my natural hair! I love my curl pattern and have really become attached to the density and thickness of my natural hair. Your words of encouragement are filled with “good information” which I sincerely appreciate. Based on your insights, I think I should start with just blow drying without a flat iron follow-up and I’m even nervous about that!! 🤣 Thanks so much for the reply!!! ❤️

Glad to see you on YT. I follow on ig as well and this definitely was a great move! I too am grey, about 90% and I love it!! I find the hardest part of being natural and grey is that this grey hair, much like me, has a mind of her own!! She is often unruly and wily just like me, lol butttt she also looks so fab and is very unique! Looking forward to all the great information, and tips!

Love your hair! I'm gray as well, but when I shampoo my hair, I've been using shimmering lights and then a milder shampoo. Thanks to your suggestion about the blonde product, I can ditch the 1st shampoo and cut my wash day down.

Love your hair😊 and the explanation of the products, very informative. Glad I found your channel. I color my hair no relaxer, what I do at night is I pull my hair up to the top in a bun. In the morning I pull down comb out I do a middle part. Gonna have to watch all your videos 🎉

How encouraging you are! I’m growing out my relaxing days.. I do see my hairdresser about every month or so- she cuts about 3 inches each time- This is really a process! I thought about one big chop but I’m lazy - longer hair gives more options- Glad this video rolled into my feed! Thank you!

When I transitioned from perm to natural, I didnt want to big chop. I did roller sets every wash day. I dust my ends every two months, as needed. I deep condition with a heat cap every wash day. I love the fullness of my roller sets. Lots of body. I do not use any direct heat. My hair has grown so much. Get lots of compliments on my hair. Good luck on your journey.

Your hair is so beautiful! I’m on a long hair journey meaning no more every year. After heat blow drying, I do a cool blow dry and I use a small fan to keep my hair from swelling up. I need this curling iron 😮amazing results

Hello and Welcome Patty .. I will be subscribing, love your hair mine I relax twice a year, I will be 54 March I have a straightener that has a come attachment but find it snags on my hair so I just use my Dyson super sonic and straightener, I don’t straighten often as I like to go sauna and steam often heat therapy for my body .. but I am really looking forward to watching more of your videos ❤

Seen you occasionaly on instagram. Great video and absolutely GORGEOUS HAIR! l am 55 and a product junkie too. 🤣😂 I wear my hair naturally curly...my issue when I flat iron is how to correctly put my hair up at night. I don't want to have to continuously put heat on my hair and damage my curls....hopefully you will show this one day. Great video..I will be tuning in for future videos.😁

Welcome to RU-vid I know you from IG. I started flat ironing my hair in 2023 and I didn't know what I was doing so now my hair has that yellow look. I'm trying to learn how can I get rid of the yellow. Is there anything I can do the get rid of the yellow or am I going to have to cut my hair start all over again?

I think I shared the short here on toning yellow hair, but it is certainly on IG… it can be corrected… and I never use heat higher than 370°… and I only use clear or white products… or purple shampoo to neutralize… and when using heat, use products designed for heat 🙏🏾🥰🥰🥰

Night sweats are hard, do you sweating your head? When I was sweating in my head, I just wore a ponytail on top because if I wrapped it, the whole head would be wet. 🙏🏾🥰
