Too bad for us Canadians my final cost was about $156, I watched your first video and ordered ASAP. I tried a bottle of highly rated ceramic coating sold at Canadian tire on a vehicle prior to this and was very disappointed with the ease of washing and the short time it lasted. The Cerakote was applied to a SL55 AMG and the look and feel are amazing. Thanks for sharing.
I installed the Cerakote Pro Ceramic on a vehicle last week. After proper decontamination, polishing, and paint prep I applied a single coat to the vehicle. Immediately, I knew this coating was a game changer! Results were instant. After a 24 hours of curing in the garage, the gloss and slickness were beyond any other coatings I've used. As a test, I applied a second coat after the 24 hours. I did not see much difference in the gloss but the second coating seemed to play well with the first coat. I have used most of the other brands out there and the Cerakote initially seems to be top of the class. After the first wash, I applied Bead Maker/ Dream Maker as my drying aid. The gloss from that combo and the Cerakote... Seriously crazy! I agree with Pan on his review. Cerakote Pro Ceramic will be my go-to at this point.
I can’t say enough good things about this coating. I have applied it on two different vehicles and it is an absolute pleasure to apply. Gloss is amazing but what really stood out to me was just how slick the paint feels. Time will tell on longevity but so far absolutely amazing.
Yeah it's nuts that slickness. Gloss is awesome too especially a few weeks after the application as the coating continues to cure. They reset the conversation on the durability claims though, which makes sense. I spoke about that in this video as well as the previous factory tour video.
Already applied it to the new SUV. First wash yesterday and all I could hear in my head was Pans voice chuckling "look at the tight beading and sheeting...!". I was giddy with how awesome it is. The slickness is almost like having P&S Beadmaker on the pInt permanently Thanks for what you do Pan
I can second everything presented here. I recently applied this coating to my vehicle and have been thoroughly impressed. If the durability claims are accurate, I'm not sure what else you would want in a coating. Ease of application, slickness, gloss, hydrophobics, self-cleaning ability, it's all there in spades. No joke, the application process is easier than applying a wax. Literally nothing sticks to this coating. Bug residue disappears with only a pressure washer. Tar deposits removed with a couple of swipes of a clay towel during the wash process. Not to mention, Cerakote's customer service is top notch. Keep it up, guys! Great job so far!
Hehe that’s awesome! Thanks for sharing your personal experience! And I agree with you too, it has everything we’d want in a coating. Time will tell how well it does in real world conditions. I’m looking forward to long term testing.
I can summarize this product in two words: Mind blown! I don't see how it could possibly be any easier to produce dazzling results on a properly prepped vehicle! I've been a fan of products like Turtle Wax Ice for years, because of the ease of application vs results, after having my vehicle professionally washed. I intend to get some of this and apply it myself after a professional prep regimen like you demonstrated. As always, thanks for your videos that help me learn how to care for my vehicle myself and thanks to Cerakote for a totally awesome product!
Thanks for the positive feedback about my videos Robert! I work hard to provide quality content with all the information my viewers need. It’s nice to see my efforts don’t go unnoticed by my viewers.

Thanks for taking us along. I would have to say this mom is going to be extremely satisfied with the finish on her vehicle. Looks amazing. I just got my Cerakote kit. Thank you Cerakote. Can’t wait to apply it on my favorite vehicle and do a review. Great job as always Pan. Enjoy your weekend.
Im impressed you did this and showed the results on a daily driver. I’ve had this debate over the years that you have to have “perfect paint” to apply a coating. It’s great to have real world example of how effective they can be without “perfect” paint. Thanks Pan!
Exactly! Having flawless paint with zero swirls and scratches is not important for a coating. What is CRUCIAL is to get the surface clean, decontaminated and free of any previous protection. A coating needs to bond directly to a virgin clear coat, free of contamination and without any interference of previous waxes/sealants. It doesn't matter is swirls and scratches are there. But for many people, if they are going to seal the finish and lock it in for years with a ceramic coating, and do all that work, they will often take the time to do paint correction as well and get the paint to a point they are happy with, and then apply the coating. That's why in my coating jobs for most customers that you can see in my full detailing videos, customers take the full A to Z package including paint correction to make sure their paint looks flawless, for those who value having a great looking vehicle. But the coating doesn't care if it's applied on perfect paint or paint that has defects. ;)
I ordered a kit the day of the original announcement video. Really appreciate this more detailed application tutorial. This will be my first try at any coating, so every little tip is useful. Thanks
I just ordered this with intention of applying in the spring. I've been impressed with Cerakote products. I applied their spray-on paint sealant, headlight restore, and black trim restore 7 months ago and they still look as good as the day I applied them. Great company; great products.
You need to use plenty of product. Especially on a fresh applicator. Most people use too little product. Don’t be stingy with it. You want a nice layer laid down. And work in 2x2 sections overlapping. That way it’s laid down solid. Doing half a hood without adding more product isn’t ideal, layers aren’t even at all that way. More here, less there. You get the idea.
This has been the first ceramic product I’ve tried amount many where I can use my blower and all the water slides off. Not even the tiny specs of water left like other coatings even when first applied. Def stands out. Can recommend 100%

Awesome work once again Pan. It's great to see coating manufacturers formulating ceramic coatings that initially cure before the 24-hour period that many of the other coatings require. I work outdoors and having a one or two-hour cure time makes it much better for me being I don't have a structure to protect the vehicle from the weather. I once had a coating fail when an unexpected rain storm came through the area 14 hours after the coating was applied. Keep up the great work.
Yeah, the fast initial cure seems great for DIYers, mobile detailers, and especially people without garage space! Sometimes it's not possible to avoid driving a car for 24hrs, or keep it garaged for that long. Great to see big companies innovating in that lower-price space.
Pan, just received my kit from Cerakote. Great packaging. What a great deal. I can’t wait to try it. I’ll let you know after I use it. Such a great deal. Thank you Cerakote.
@@PanTheOrganizer I haven’t had a chance yet. I’m like Rick over at RAD. I teach so I get to things like that when school slows down a bit. I’m hoping over winter break to give my dad’s 2010 Corvette a rinseless wash and then polish. It’s full of swirls. Then use the Cerakote on it. I tried the DIY rinseless a little bit today and really liked it. I was pleasantly surprised by how slick it was and how it broke down so the dirt snd dust so easily. The smell was also a nice surprise.
I know, I have a few friends and family members who are teachers. Hence my appreciation for the work you provide and the respect I have for the profession.
I have only been detailing for a year. Most of my education has come from you Pan, thanks. I have never found anything you have said to not be factual. So when I first saw your first Cerakote video I got excited and ordered it right away. As soon as I received it I had to try it out. I was extremely pleased with the results I got. This video accurately reproduces everything I experienced. I could not be more pleased with your video and Cerakotes product. Thank you both!
Great video Pan ! Loved the enthusiasm and this coating checks off "ALL" the boxes, economical, fast cure time, easy wipe off........ This is hard to beat, THANK YOU!
AMAZING. I just ordered a kit. It will my first only ceramic coating application but you made it look like there is nothing to be afraid of. Thx for all your work 🙏
I got my free sample a few days ago. It came with two bottles which should be more than enough to do my ram and maybe a Nissan rouge. I appreciate you !
Thank you for the video. Also thank you for showing the pooling rinse method. Seems like no one talks about it anymore and it’s extremely valuable. I signed up for the free pack.
Same routine as for any coating, as shown in the video, and in my popular ceramic coating application tutorial here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-sqQYVjxFqK0.html
Hey Pan, a big thanks to you for all your knowledge and wisdom. Ordered the coating and applied it last weekend. Today(Saturday) did a maintenance wash and it really is an amazing product.
Great to hear! Thanks for sharing your personal experience. Did you notice the insane slickness? Crazy for just one layer and no hyperslick topcoat needed!
I Ordered the kit on your first video. This is such a great product it is now my go-to coating. Time will tell about durability, but I think it will be great. I am so excited about the product I hope cerakote can keep up with the demand😊
Thanks for sharing your experience. Yeah time will tell for the durability, but given the awesome track record Cerakote has with other products, they seem to know what they're doing, and certainly yeah the gloss and slickness here are amazing! All the viewers who are commenting so far have seen the same thing too. So I'm not crazy haha. And also, a big point is the suuuuuper low purchase point. I can't think of another coating that only costs $30 per bottle that gives me these results with just 2 hrs of curing needed...
This stuff is looking so promising! I have nothing to say negative about it as of now. Cerakote is great to work with as well! They have sent me more product and I am excited to see it on more customers cars and get their feedback!
I applied to this my bmw M3 that is Brooklyn grey and it is AMAZING! I have used a couple of different coating over the years on my vehicles and this stuff is by far the best. I just reordered 2 more kits plus the rapid for top off, thanks for the videos Pan
Brought some ready to coat a car when the better weather arrives and after watching this video i can not wait to try it . Looks awesome and thanks for making this video Pan .
Finally got around to coating my car. WOW! Ease of application, level of gloss, slickness after curing and very straightforward instructions made it a delight. The only negative for me was I ended up using more product than I probably should have. Glad the deal was for 2 bottles. It's hard to judge how much product is enough or too much. Looking forward to future care care and how long this coating will last.
ahhh thats how you apply it lol.. Appreciate the video. We shall see this lasts through the winter here in Idaho against the other "new" coatings on the block. That 5 min time is a real thing. make sure you follow the instructions.
Pan, been watching you for a few months now and i gotta say, i love your product reviews. I have been watching for a ceramic coating like this! i just ordered it tonight at the sale price!!! i think this will work great on my 2020 Chevy Silverado, it's dark red so i think this will make the color explode!
Hi David! Thank you for the kind words, much appreciated. And yeah at such a little price, this coating is a win win for buyers. Hie PAN, Thanks for the insightful content on detailing. I really love this channel because car detailing is a really amazing therapy to me. Received Cerakote package yesterday all the way on the other side of the planet, New Zealand. 😊😊 Cannot wait to use it this Christmas break. 👌👌👌.
You're the best! Thanks Raymond! I appreciate your level of support. And yeah it will be a special moment I never thought would ever be possible when I first started my channel in April 2016. I'm blessed with awesome viewers like yourself!! I hope you are having a great weekend!!
Pan I bought it as soon as I watched your video and applied it last weekend. I can honestly say after using 4 other coatings this is the best yet! I honestly love it!!! I applied at a temperature of about 21 c and to be honest I let it flash for 10mins on the first panel and had no issues or high spots so I did half the vehicle at once. Probably not a good idea at higher temperatures. 😃 I’m going to buy more!
@@Cerakote For sure! I have done ceramic coatings before, but I like to see the real professionals give me some tips and tricks before I tackle the job myself. I'm kind of a perfectionist! 😆 Thanks for sending out that sample quickly, that was very generous of your company to do that.
Wow that is good stuff, and would be something i would want for my car, but i don't know how to machine polish and don't have the equipment, but her vehicle came out beautifully!
She was so happy with the results. As a single mom she struggles to work hard to provide for her family and doesn’t have time to detail her vehicle. So I made sure she would have results she would be more than pleased with.
Did my ram 2500 this product is amazing my only surprise was it took both bottles including wheels and I was not heavy. That being said I can not even explain the gloss / slickness and how easy it was to apply. I just ordered two more bottles. It’s really that good!
Hehehe that's awesome!! Yeah the feedback from viewers is just as I witnessed myself in person after doing a few vehicles with this coating already. The gloss and that insane slickness! And it gets better a week or two after the initial application! The hydrophobics are super nice as well. If it lasts a few years this is beyond a winner. The price point is so low, you can't go wrong! Thanks for sharing your experience. What color is your RAM by the way? 2500 are true beasts!!
great video Pan! And soon you'll have 1,000,000 followers!! I'm working at it and encouraging all my friends to follow you! Watch the video: Your enthusiasm is so exhausting. and premiere, because it is the first time that a product from the U S A can be bought in Germany!! Thanks for the link. i bought it. hehe. Here it cost twice as much, but hey, it will be worth every penny. keep it up. something completely new for me: paint AND Glass ceramic in one.. It's good that you're doing this, these awesome videos. but at last please tell me: what should i do with all my other stuff??? 😂😂😂
Pan, when applying the coating in a more humid environment, should I reduce the 5 min wait time and buff off as soon as I see sweating? Love the information and channel
I’m a big fan of Total Auto Solutions coatings. They sweat/bead up too. Makes it so easy to tell when it’s ready to be wiped off. No matter the color of the vehicle.
I’m not sure where the coating is made. You can search Hyperclean in google and it should bring them up. I’ve always used their DOS coating and had really good results.

@@PanTheOrganizer I just got a new car, and didn’t want to make to make the same mistake I did with my first car and let it get UV damage on clear coat. I was unaware of the need to protect the clear coat, I thought washes were protecting..oh how obvious it seems now. I came across your channel and enjoyed how detailed and informative your videos are in the processes and products used to maintain cars properly.
Just finished applying to my personal vehicle. Bang on 30ml for just the painted surfaces on my 21' Pajero Sport ( mid size SUV ). Typically I'm using 10-15ml of other coatings per layer for comparison. Everything about this new product looks and feels amazing. My only scepticism is the durability, obviously time will tell. The durability factor just makes it more challenging to sell to customers and clients at the moment, compared to the coatings I am currently installing.

Whenever you laugh like that in the video it’s a dead giveaway that you’re blown away. You did that laugh 3 years ago when you used Turtles Wax Graphene Flex Wax and their paste wax. It was a priceless astonishment look on your face and that’s what sold me on their Hybrid Line👀👍
Todays the day. Got a new Model Y Friday and did all the necessary prep work. Will now coat it with this product and see how it performs. It was between this and Adams Advanced Graphene. We shall see.
@@Cerakote ok. Coated vehicle today. Applied it and waited the five minutes before wiping. Didn’t notice a lot of sweating effect. My garage may have been too cold. Probably around 55F if I had to guess. Other than that, it wiped off fairly easy and felt super slick 👍🏻
Yeah that's very close to the temperature limit where it wouldn't be recommended to go below to apply paint protection. 50F is pretty much rock bottom. Ideally you'd be closer to 68F. So in super cold temperatures, flashing can be longer. But as long as you at least left it 5 min on the surface, it should hopefully be fine. We'll see if @Cerakote sees your comment and gives their opinion. And yes I agree, wipe off is sooooo slick and simple. The best of any pro coating I have tested so far.
Love your content Pan! I have really been loving the new products coming out of Cerakote. This new coating looks really easy to apply and really efficient.
I will be doing some follow up updates to see how this does on the daily driven vehicle I applied to, and see how it does in weather and conditions where I live. There are so many factors and variables, different people in different places can get different results. Certainly I work in optimal conditions (68F with 40-45% humidity) which usually helps when applying coatings. People who apply in colder 45-50F temps and higher humidity need to be more careful as that's on the lower end of the usual recommended application temperatures for coatings. I wouldn't go below 64F personally. What conditions were you in when applying? Did you have any protection on the paint previously? What prep steps did you perform? It's always important to have background information to see what potentially might have gone wrong. But the bottom line is if you're a pro, you likely got it for free. If you're DIY, you can ask for a refund if you aren't satisfied. Did you contact Cerakote about it?
Going to give it a shot... I was just about to order the Gyeon Syncro kit (MOHS + SKIN); but watched this video and loved the apparent ease of application. I used Adam's Advanced Graphene on my truck this summer, and it was more difficult than I would have liked. I'm planning to apply the Cerakote to a 2013 Volvo S60 T6. I figure if I get 2 to 4 years of protection, that'll be great. I anticipate getting a new car before the coating wears off. I'll report back after application. OBTW - Bought the Trim Restore as well in order to get the free shipping! 😉
Thanks pan for another great video, i have my eyes on this cerakote product, about to order it right now. That will be my first time applying to my black toyota 4runner. Keep coming with this awesome tutorials. Cant wait for another of your videos.
Thanks Frank! I appreciate the positive feedback, as I always put so much effort into producing quality content for you guys and making sure I'm thorough in my explanations and give all the information to my viewers.
Just ordered this coating. Even if it’s crap, the price can’t be beat. I’m going to try it on my motorcycle first and then try my hand at doing it on my car!
Time will tell, but I doubt it will be crap. So far everything is impressive. Only thing to see is long term real world durability. Plus, many either got it for free or for such a low price, it’s a win win for everyone in my opinion. If they were selling these for $100-300 then my expectations would be through the roof.
I love that they are stepping back from the dubious annual claims for durability and giving real world parameters, that sets up a much better system for understanding what you’re getting and less dissatisfaction when you find out your 10 year $1500 ceramic job done in June 2023 has already lost its hydrophobic properties. (Daily driven, not garage kept, washed once weekly with Carpro products) System X max was the coating they used, on a brand new car so I’m not sure of the level of prep work that was done. So glad I found this channel, and thanks for all the help and insight 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

@@PanTheOrganizer honestly by accident, I was researching how to care for the paint on my new 2023 Ford Mustang since it is quite a thin clear coat and one of your videos was suggested so I gave it a view. I really enjoy the long form discussion layout and the constant disclaimers if it is or isn’t a paid review, the time and dedication you put into the awards episodes, as well as the nitty gritty technical episodes (the one with the P&S chemist is one of my favorites). I wish i had the time and space to dedicate to detailing the way that I really want, but being a weekend warrior will have to do for now. Thanks again!
I think these guys are onto a winner. I like they have enabled this coating to do virtually all surfaces, this saves buying lots of specific products, all in one is the way forward 👍. Also Pan, when are you likely to do a highlight on DQUARTZ Go? 🙂
@PanTheOrganizer Yes please Pan, I've already put in a request from the UK importer, I need two bottles. Not much information about what surfaces it'll cover, I.e plastic, metal and ppf. Like Cerekote is an all-in-one coating which is quite remarkable really, Dquartz Go needs to be the same. I'm only really interested because of the Mohs scale and being a brand I really like. If Cerakote brought out something with a harder coating on the Mohs scale then it would be a winner for me. If you could review Dquartz Go also please 🙏
I would like to see i how would it dry off without doing any blow drying or with out wiping it down like you said with the mom that does really keep up w the maintenance like after it rains at night and in the morning when it gets sunny does it dry by itself or bout it stay with some streaks
Super encouraged that others have gotten their bottles. I am excited to try it out. Great video, I will be interested to see what you decide to install on your new ride 😊
I’m going to give this a try. I was highly disappointed in Gtechniq. Not even 3 years and all panels are so flat it’s like i washed my truck with dawn. This looks promising thanks for all your hard work pan 👏🏽
Thanks! What country do you live in? Not everyone has the same real world experience with coatings for many variables. Mileage, conditions, weather, maintenance, prep, application, etc. Gtechniq is for sure a top tier brand, but like for any product, some people are happy and others not as much, so user experience can vary. I have seen people get 5 years from CSL, and others barely made it past 2 years. So the best thing is to test a coating, and see how it works for you. Luckily we are now in times where coatings don't have to cost 500$ to buy anymore. You can find excellent coatings for 30-60$. Even if you get 2 years out of that, it didn't break the bank by any stretch of the imagination.
@@PanTheOrganizer I’m in Chicago so I’d say we have similar conditions. I agree luckily for us the industry has made it easier on the consumer. It truly comes down to the maintenance and outside elements
Cerakote is going to sell a lot of bottles even when the raise the price after the rollout. Did you use the ceramic trim restorer on the SUV because the trim showed a ton of improvement. Thank you Pan!
