Today, I'm going to make a delicious pulao, CHICKEN YAKHNI PULAO.
Delicious and so easy to make! such a finger licking pulao recipe.

-Ingredients:
-Chicken 750 gms
-Onion 1 medium
-Garlic cloves 8-10
-Ginger 1 inch piece
-Black cardamom 2
-Cinnamon stick 2-3
-Cloves 5-6
-Cumin seeds 1 tbs
-coriander seeds 1 tbs
-Fennel seeds 1 tbs
-Green cardamom 3-4
-Salt 1 tbs
-Water 1 & 1/2 litre
-Oil 1/2 cup
-Onion 1 large
-Black cardamom 1
-Green cardamom 2-3
-Cinnamon stick 2-3
-Cloves 3-4
-Cumin seeds 1/2 tbs
-Black peppercorns 1/2 tsp
-Ginger garlic paste 1 & 1/2 tbs
-Yogurt 1/2 cup
-Salt 1-2 tsp
-Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
-Green chilli 4-5
-Fresh coriander 2 tbs
-Basmati rice 4 cups
-Fried onion ,fresh coriander and lemon for garnishing
-Directions:
-In a pot,add chicken,onion,ginger,garlic, cumin seeds,coriander seeds,fennel seeds,cinnamon sticks,black cardamom,green cardamom,cloves,black peppercorns ,salt and water,mix well and bring it to boil,cover and cook on low flame until chicken is tender (approx.15-20 minutes).
-Take out chicken pieces and set aside,strain chicken stock and reserve for later use.
-In a popt,add oil,onion and fry until light golden.
-Add cinnamon sticks,black cardamom,green cardamom,black peppercorns,,cumin seeds,cloves and mix well.
-Add ginger garlic paste and mix well.
-Now add reserved chicken pieces and fry for 2-3 minutes.
-Add yogurt and mix well.
-Add salt,black pepper powder,green chillies and fresh coriander,mix well and cook until oil separates.
-Add reserved stock,mix well and bring it to boil
-Add soaked rice,mix and cook on medium high flame until water is reduced,cover and steam cook on very low flame for 15-20 minutes.
-Garnish with fried onion,fresh coriand ,lemon & serve !
