Glad you guys are having fun with the upgrades. I am a fan of the black accents personally. As I like the way it breaks up the paint color. .Gunmetal accents would be sick with the Anvil though. You should let Ryan do some mods and you film one day. It is such a fun sense of satisfaction to work on your own jeep.
I'm with you. Saving up for a white Willy's and I can't wait to get all the country. Looking at buying a used white Harley Electra Glide, and I need to figure out how to take off all the chrome parts and put black on it.
I like Ryan’s Jeep gas door better than Matt’s black gas door. I love the color match mods. Wiper cowl is a must I feel like. I have a colored match wiper cowl. I did not know it was that easy to remove the door handles on JLs/JTs.
I have bought from Distinction Applied for 3 of my jeeps and absolutely LOVE them!! Just finished swapping out stuff on my 20A 392 and am thrilled with their products!
Brian has been great. I have an original accent color he is working on color matching. Not done yet but when I got original grill I ordered the color did not match perfectly and he has been great to work with and really wants to make it right. So excited to get this done. Ryan your jeep looks great! Love the color match options you picked!
I get so stoked when I see a video alert from you guys!! Coming together slowly but surely, Ryan. The trim pieces all look great. They sure beat the hell outta those snap on pieces from Amazon. Thanks for showing us how simple all the installs were. I think I can do these. 😀 Can’t wait to see the wraps you guys are gonna do! I think white, as an accent color on the anvil, would be distinctive and kinda classy at the same time, but very subtle. 👍🏽 Ps. Fer shure go for the color matched fuel door, Matt.
I’m trying to find a fuel cap like that or that matches the one on your Jeep that’s for a 2024 JL Sport. I’d prefer it in the textured black but can’t seem to find one that is for the 2024. I ordered a 2023 and the gas cap actually stopped the fuel door from closing. Also the Sport grill is different in 2024. Makes finding grill inserts nearly impossible. Any leads on where to get some that’ll fit? Love the channel!
Again… absolutely knocked this video out of the park and those color matched items are absolutely gorgeous!!! I have been thinking about the door handles and cowl but now seeing them on Ryan’s Jeep I think color matched is the way to go!! And yes you most definitely need that color matched fuel door on your jeep!!! Keep up the incredible work!! 👍 Also what is your email so I can send you my Gladiator??…
Color matched cowl looks great! I think Jeep's ideal behind the matte black cowl was to keep the glare down while driving. I like the painted cowl, but I'm also a fan of the black accents on certain colors.
I personally like all the contrast of blacks and whites (on a Willy's). But gollliieeeee, that shot of the rear corner with the gas gap, tail light, and handle. Perfection. Seems like the anvil color was made to be color matched
Such an improvement for less then an hours worth of work. And you gotta do a Canada trip. We did 6k miles from Ohio to bc in July and loved it up there. We were able to hang out with Casey250 and TSTN and both are great guys.
@@DIRTROADCRED I love jeep trips. I’m always looking for the next trip. I think for us the kwawling for k9s is next then sema. Then I really want to do some snow wheeling!
Distinction Applied is an awesome company. Great video and great ideas. I am definitely getting some more painted parts. I put the Mopar fuel door on a week after I bought my Willys. I agree they should come standard. I was at a dealership a week ago looking at the New ‘24 Wranglers and one of the high end 4xe JLU models it seemed like the fuel door was locked and must be opened from the inside. 🤷🏻♂️ or I was not trying hard enough lol.
Aloha Matt. The parts for the mods that you processed for Ryan's Jeep truly give an illustrious look or shiny look. This was a great video 📸 installation and modding altogether.❤🎉😊
It all looks great, love that smoked rear light too. I think you should do body matched flares and bumpers in steel or aluminum. I have a White JKUR and I am not sure what accent color to go where since some of the reds and others look so cheap. I had a silver JKU and had the black accents and bronze fuel beast rims and it looked great, I want some different accent color, but not something that is what everyone does and looks cheap. Keep up the great work!
I love your yellow Jeep Matt it looks great with what you’ve done to it. Now don’t get me wrong here I’m not trying to say something negative about it and again it’s only my opinion I have a 2021 wrangler and like you I actually like the new grill I was thinking about getting one. I thought about and said no it’s not a 2024 ….. I don’t know it’s like owning a Sahara and putting a Rubicon decal on the hood. I know it’s your own Jeep and you can do what you want hopefully you get what I’m trying to say . Anyways keep up the good content love your vids.
I don't have the JL, but I still like these videos to get ideas for my JKUR. I see Distinction also has color matched door handles for the JKs. Nice. Not too crazy about the price but nice. I just wonder how much harder that install would be.
What are the filler pieces of plastic for between the fender and the bumper. Is that new for 2024? They aren't on my 2022 Willys Wrangler or 2023 Willys Gladiator.
Glad to see these videos. I have a 2024 2dr Sport S and ordered the color matched grille in September. It gives a great comparison to what my Jeep will look like. Thanks for the great content!
I just got one a couple of weeks ago and I’m finding it hard to find some parts since the JL Sport has some subtle differences than other Wranglers in 2024 and totally different than 2023.
@@CajunNightFury so far I've replaced my fender flares with highline Rubicon flares and bought a set of half doors that were the same color. Good fitment on those.
@@thebmc1990where did you buy the flares at? Just bought my first Jeep that’s a used ‘24 Sport S w/ 8k miles on it and already thinking of swapping the plastic black fender flares out. Are yours body colored?
600 bucks for the handles. IMO you gotta be nuts to pay that. plus I think the black makes it look better, the windshield cowling is a decent price though
I bought a $16 can of mopar paint… if you’re not skilled enough to do it then yeah buy it color matched BUT I’ve been a shade tree mechanic since the late 90s. Too easy. Jeeps are the Lego of the automobile world
