Well I gotta be honest. I’d show up get real close to that pan of cinnamon rolls. I’d say “oh my it’s chef Gordon Ramsey right over there in your yard!!!!” And when you look I’d grab that pan and run and eat and run and eat as much as I could before your kids catch me and beat me up. These look really delightful! I have good memories of landing in the US, or waiting at the airport and smelling the delights coming from Cinnabon, and I can imagine that's how your kitchen must have been smelling! Wonderful! 😘
I can smell them all the way here in California! I never thought of using crescent roll dough for the cinnamon rolls! Brilliant idea...AND I just happen to have a can in the fridge! OH Man Im in trouble now! Thanks for another great video Marcelle!
I just love this super easy cinnamon crescent rolls what I love about your recipes is that their full of flavor but so easy to make. When you pulled them out of the oven and drizzled the icing over top after cooling I was ready to reach my hand in and grab one

Those look great. I have a secret recipe where you take the dough and cut it into strips, dip the strips of dough in melted butter, then roll the entire strip in cinnamon and sugar mix coating all sides. Roll the cinnamon sugar coated dough up and bake. Yummy.
On your icing I will tell you an Amish flavor secret if you have no one allergic to nuts put a drop of almond extract and a drop of butter extract flavoring you will be amazed
These Crescent Roll Cinnamon Rolls look superb Marcelle. I wish we could get the crescent roll pastry here because it works so well!!! These would not last long if they were in front of me now let me tell you they would disappear in no time😋👍!!!!
Hello! These crescent roll cinnmamon rolls turn out very soft and full of cinnamon flavor. However, they are not as big as cinnamon rolls from a bakery, they are smaller and make a perfect sweet snack in a hurry :) I hope. you all enjoy them! Thank you so much for the comment and for watching! 😊

Awesome you made your own glaze from scratch, and yes, the smell of vanilla extract is amazing! The cinnamon and brown sugar with the butter, probably tastes so good all melted together! What a cute and easy idea! These look great girl, so adorable😍 Very nice glaze that you put on top as well, nothing better than that. I know your kids loved these and Im sure they lasted all of 10 mins in your house! Good tip on covering your glaze so it doesn't harden up on you, if you've never worked with it before you might not know. Wish that was my late night snack too😭
:) Your kitchen is the exact same shape and size as mine (but a lot tidier). I love your countertops, mine are that old gross white formica, I hate them but can't afford to change. Love your recipe, much better than the other recipe someone put on for biscuit cinnamon rolls. Crescent roll pastry is so much tastier.

Hi Sunflower, thanks so much for watching! I just patted down the dough enough to open it up and then I squeezed the perforations back together. You can also use the crescent roll sheets for this cinnamon roll recipe, which are really perfect for it! (I didn't know those were a thing when I made this video!! 😆) I didn't roll the the dough out to any particular size, just used the precut dough basically as it is. Hey Stephen! If you can find frozen puff pastry or even refrigerated pizza/bread dough you could make a short cut sweet roll with those. Those types of premade dough might be the closest substitutions to this refrigerated crescent roll dough. filo pastry will be a tasty treat, but a lot thinner than this canned dough we have here. Hi Silvia, thank you for watching! 😊 The flour in the sugar mix helps to add body to it. The sugar will melt as the rolls bake and little bit of flour added into the sugar mixture helps to lessen how much leaks out of the pastry while the rolls are baking up! You do know you can buy them in a can already to put in the oven. Why would you mess up your kitchen and extra dishes doing this when you can just buy them in a can ready to go? Doesn't make sense to me.
Yes, they sure do make a version of cinnamon rolls ready to pop into the oven. But, they are not made with light, fluffy crescent rolls! The softer texture of the crescent roll dough makes these little rolls different from than the cinnamon rolls in a can (I've eaten a ton of those too over the years😆).
