I made this for my grandmother and she loves it. She's been crocheting for 80 years and i grew up watching her crochet. She was very happy to receive something crocheted by her grand daughter. Thanks a lot for the tutorial.
This is my first bag and I was terrified to start this. It was daunting for me. But this video was honestly great! And i appreciated the fact that you actually went into all the details from how to do a slipknot all the way to how you calculated how much length you needed for the strap and the whys as well! I started this project yesterday afternoon and all i have left is the showing and the straps!!! Thanks again!!!
This is cool and will try creating it too!😊 You have a very clear and clean instructions in your video, both audio and visual. Thank you for sharing your work!🤗
i’m currently trying to making this using tunisian crochet. a bit nervous because it’s my biggest project so far as a beginner, but your tutorial has been so clear and perfectly paced for my level. thank you!
This is an amazing tutorial and super easy instructions. I’m struggling a bit with my rectangle getting smaller with each row . Any recommendations on what to do to stop that?
Yes! You are missing stitches, so it’s getting smaller. When you finish a row, count your stitches and make sure it’s the same number at the row before. It might help to put a stitch marker in the first and last stitch of the row, so you don’t miss it!
Help please!! 🙏 🙏 I want to recreate this bag for a birthday gift but all I have is t-shirt yarn, is it possible to adapt it to this material? (btw I am a super beginner in the crochet world)
Looking forward to making this, but I'm not sure which hook size to use. The video says a 4mm, but in the written description it says 6mm. Can you clarify for me please? Thank you.
26 inches or centimeters? My width was 22cm. If yours was 26cm, it’s probably that I have tighter tension than you. You just need to do less chains or tighten your tension. If you meant inches, I think you might not be counting your chains correctly. 40 stitches in super bulky yarn would achieve that size, but not this yarn
It doesn’t have to be exactly 22cm; it’s okay if it’s slightly different. But, if 40 stitches is 26cm for you, then about 34 stitches should be 22cm (chain 36)
