Easy Crochet Braided Beanie Hat Tutorial.
Hi everyone and welcome back to my channel. Today I have something quick and easy for you all to delve into. This crochet beanie hat is perfect for those who love the look of cables but find crocheting the stitch very tedious and complicated. This beanie uses very basic stitches and perfect for beginner crochet lovers.
Materials:
I used just one ball of Lion Brand Vanna's Choice
5.5 mm crochet hook
6 mm crochet hook
Yarn needle
Pom Pom (optional)

This is so different . I want to make a hat. You are an excellent teacher. Went slow enough so we could follow. I am 93 years of age and been crocheting for over 70 years off an on and never saw this design. Thank you.

I love this pattern so much! I am on my 3rd one and have one more to make. I added a Pom Pom and a label to finish it off. I showed my daughter and she said she thought it was a store bought hat! 😀😀😀😀

Hi Carrie , I have learned so much from your tutorials. I've made 9 sweaters , hats , and will be trying a cardigan. I'd only made blankets , scarfs ,and easy hats . Just finished making this hat - it has turned out really well. I like the fact that the hat looks textured but is smooth on the inside. I did do one more row of decreases before I cinched the top together. Thank you.

Thank you so much for this wonderful tutorial, I made this for my grandma for Christmas out of a soft velvet yarn and it turned out beautiful :) btw for anyone looking I used number 5 weight bulky yarn instead of 4 and did 45 rows on the ribbed section instead of 55. Worked perfectly

Thanks so much. This is the first beanie I've made that's not just one stitch the whole way through and also the first beanie I've made that is worked from the bottom up. Not for lack of trying either.. Yours is the first pattern that wasn't too complicated but so beautiful it looks complicated. I will definitely be making more of these as gifts.

Wow when I saw you do the first 5 dc and then chain I was so amazed.. I did a blanket like this before so I imagine that’s how this will go too just pulling loops through each other I always wondered how crochet cables were made! so awesome to see it done as a hat👏 thank you

I jus finished making a beanie for myself with this design. I made only one change - instead of 55 stitches i took 85 stitches. It turned out to be amazing. Thank you so much for explaining the design in simple and easy way. This was my first beanie 🙏
