I wanted to make a broader strap so I just used a bigger hook instead (5 mm)

Chain 4 instead of 3 and make five dc's instead of four per side.

I think its very sturdy and depent on what type of yarn you have use also 🙂

I think you will find easy way to add the end of thd strap

Have you tried watching it at 0.75 speed (or lower) to see the stitches more clearly? The close caption [cc] isn't to bad either. I followed it and there are only a few words that the auto capture didn't get, but they should be clear with the context of it and crocheter knowledge 😉 e.g. 'ears' is here, 'loaf' is loop, 'size' is side, 'design' is this side, 'when you meet make totals' is when you get to the desired length, 'chain fines' is chain 5, 'on this knives' is on this side, etc
