I love the way you patiently show the process of switching from the ribbing to the body of the skirt. Placing that first row of single crochet can feel so tricky when you're just starting out but you make it easy.

If you end up with the skirt being too long between the hips and waist because you had to add more rows you can try adding 2 stitches per row on opposite sides of the skirt instead. Just try it on as you go so your increases match the shape of your body.

@@everemy5736 @Eve remy honnêtement, je pense que tout dépend de si vous serrez vos mailles où non. Personnellement, je serre moins que @Chenda DIY, et il m'a fallut que 150g de coton pour du S, sachant que j'ai fait une jupe plus longue. Si vous serrez beaucoup vos mailles, alors je pense qu'il vous faudra 300g, comme annoncé sur la vidéo. Pour du M, peut être 350g ? En tout cas, il vaut mieux prendre plus de coton, au risque de devoir faire le haut qui va avec en plus!

I have a question is it natural that the skirt forms a wave? It doesn't form a straight line as I increase I don't know if I'm doing it right I'm a beginner. I want to make a skirt like in the thumbnail but as I make it, it doesn't look right to me because it forms a wave which I haven't seen in any skirt tutorials I've watched

Chenda please I have a problem ,I hope you don't get offended... When you chain two do you insert a half double crochet into the same stitch or a different stitch cause I'm quite confused..when I did mine I inserted a half double crochet in the next stitch and it started to go slant not straight

If anyone has made this please help whenever I complete the waistband and actually start with the rows for the skirt they create a wavey line. Am I missing stitches? Or is my tension too high? or does it eventually just straighten as you go?

Hi, aus Erfahrung kann ich nur sagen immer die Reihe mit 1 Luftmasche beenden und bei der nächste angefangene Reihe erst in die zweite Masche von Häkelnadel einstechen den Schritt immer genauso wiederholen. Gutes Gelingen🍀

Hey Chenda, I like the simple design, yet I have a problem with it, since I'm a crochet beginner. Everything went well until row 24, after that I did 25 and 26, then started repeating in that pattern:25,26,25,26,25,26... and so on , until the end. But my skirt got bumpy/bulky. It's not flat at all at the part of the skirt, where we chain 2 to start the next row. I hope I explained it well enough. Thank you or anyone else in advance!

Видео прекрасное, НО только для девушек с квадратной талией или, если бёдра не сильно больше талии, у меня же талия 61 см, а бёдра 94, как думаете, это видео помогло мне? НЕЕЕТ, я просто 6 раз перевязывала и без понятия, что делать и да, это не жир, у меня реально бёдра большие, у меня такое телосложение. Это просто УЖАСНО!
