I made my first sock yesterday! The only thing I did differently was to sew across the tip (where the toes go) back and forth, as just gathering them is not strong enough (let alone that the toes could eventually peep through if all one does is sew the edge after gathering). This is, however, the easiest method to make socks that I've come across! Thank You! I'll be knitting them using the same pattern as well!
