❗❗I decided to blur the part where the front lace was being taught due to the conflict. Thank you! 😊 ❗❗Feel free to read the comments; as a point of clarification, I did not copy anything from her. Yes, it was my fault for not knowing that this style of design had already been created. I blurred the front lace portion because it's the aspect that makes the top look just like hers, but the rest of it isn't. The top's base is an open back, and the puff sleeves' details are made with front post dc and edging. 🌸I apologize for the lack of a voice over in this video; our home is undergoing some repairs, and background noises are unavoidable. 🌸Also, If you are having a hard time to catch up with the fast pace, kindly pause the video or adjust the play speed. This is an original design. 1. The sleeves are fuller in this blouse 2. The front string is different 3. There are small cute flower details 4. The back is different: this one is open and it has to be laced. Please stop the hate towards the creator of this tutorial. Clearly she made her own design.

It's just funny how these people are leaving mean comments in this video just because sarahstitchedit said so 😂 the moment i looked at their designs, you'll see the differences immediately. there are many designs which are made by famous youtube crocheters here and is being done by other crocheters as well but they did not humiliate anyone like sarah has done. Sarah also said that they already talked privately so you don't have to leave bad comments anymore 😉

I don't know what's wrong with these people thinking they're the only ones who can come up with ideas! Not because something looks similar doesn't mean it is copied. The overall product looks similar, but stitches are different. The way it is worked is different. I know it's annoying to see someone seem like they "copied," but they should know the facts first before attacking. Keep up the good work CJ! Your designs are very cute!

I am so saddened by the fact that so many people are accusing you of stealing Sarah's pattern, when in reality this is your own pattern and there are only some similarities between yours and her top. I read that people are telling Sarah that she copied your pattern and asking the money back and this is definitely sad as well, but I don't think you should be held responsible for it. Anyway this is an amazing top and it looks absolutely beautiful on you. I will try to make this top after I make one of your other top. I absolutely love your videos. I wonder why people are asking you to take this video down when it's not actually a stolen pattern. It may have a similarity in the front lace but that doesn't mean it's been copied from anyone else. There are so much details on this top. It just happened that most of us, crocheters, are making patterns that are inspired on something else and unfortunately, 2 or more people, like you 2, may have thought of the same inspo. In fact, there are famous crocheters who have patterns similar to what I see on RU-vid, IG, and Pinterest. But they are not humiliated by our crochet sisters. This may have caused harm to the person claiming this pattern but obviously, this is already putting you in public shame by calling you a theft or by telling that you stole this from her. Why don't we make our own judgment? Stop sending hateful messages because you are asked to. Listen on both sides, Sisters! (sending virtual hug to you, dear)

Now with this situation I looked the other girl's design and this is defenitively NOT a copy you don't even need super vision to notice this isn't even inspired on that design, yours is more delicate and has different stitch. Your design is way different then the person who claimed you stole there design, I honestly just think they are upset that your design is way cuter then there’s and looks a lot higher of quality, I actually came to this video because of her hate story’s on Instagram trying to get people to get your video taken down but honestly I just think the person is bitter honestly. May medyo similarities lang e nanguha kana ng designs??. marami talagang same designs . I think many people make similar designs in crocheting and it’s not fair that people are being mean when you didn’t know that a similar one exists and you already explained your reasoning. Like this happens all the time in crochet. I want to say that I really like your design and I was able to understand and follow it clearly.I was trying to look for a cute top for awhile until I came across your tutorial and was like this is the perfect on to make.😊 For the front lace part, do you have tutorial recommendations on a similar looking one on RU-vid. Paano ka po nakaksigurado dapat sya nagbgay ng proper credit? Hndi nya po yan ginaya kung saan o knino ma. Kung ttingnan mo, itong design na to ay halos parehas lang sa mga previous design nya. This is so cute! However it is Incredibly sad it’s unoriginal and copied from @sarahstitchedit on Instagram. Even more disappointing that the creator of this video refuses to take it down even though the design is copyrighted.

This is such a cute design, but please don’t take credit for it. The pattern was originally designed by @sarahstitchedit and she deserves credit for coming up with such a beautiful top. Give credit where credit is due. This is such a common issue in the maker community, and it’s sad to see yet another maker fall into the trap of claiming credit for a design that isn’t yours. It isn’t a good look.

I follow you and @sarahstitchedit as persons who i look up to, alam ko po na you were inspired sa mga bridgerton and shows like that but please understand na yung top na ginawa ni @sarahstitchedit yung una na may ganitong design and sana intindihin mo rin sitwasyon niya kasi pinaghirapan niya gawin yung pattern and you'd be giving it out just for free. Just please take this down. People are already calling Sarah a 'robber' for her original design because of this video. They are asking refunds on her etsy shop because they think she stole this one from you. I know you don't mean any harm but this is actually harmful to her in many ways. There are endless possibilities in crochet so I'm sure you can come up with a unique design in the future.

Hi! Please take down the video or credit the original creator @sarahstichedit while promoting her shop in the description. She worked super hard on this design and it's sad to see someone profiting off of it. The design is copyrighted which means legally she has the right to request you take it down or it can turn ugly in your favor. This is not a case of copy the design like the harry styles patchwork cardigan that the original designers uploaded for free. This is something that the designer (Sarah) requests to be paid for because it is her work. So please, be the better person and take your video down.

I'm sorry but just knowing that her top is 100% copyrighted and you saying that it is your design months after she initially released the design is heart breaking. She worked hard on that design and had pattern testers to make sure it was viable. Please, consider the genuine hurt you are doing to her business. Yes you made the video and edited it. But you did not make the design for that top. The bag you made seems adorable and I'm sure many of us who are fans of Sarah would enjoy seeing you make a video for the bag instead of the top. Again, please, please,please be the better person in this situation and take down the video. You are not a hero for lying when there's physical and legal proof against you. We just want to see creators grow with their own creations. Not copying others.
