Thank you very much for this great toturial and your clear english! I am a two meter tall, 36 year old german guy who, thanks to you, has crocheted a new little cute companion for himself. I can hardly wait for the new wool delivery to arrive so that he is not alone in my absence and gets an axolotl as a friend ... 😃 Please keep it up, you're great! warm greetings from germany
@@YasunaLou danke Dir! Suchti triffts ausgezeichnet...
I love this little turtle! I've made 2. I wanted to share with you that I crocheted them for charity, and they will be making their way from the United States to children in Turkey who are affected or displaced after the earthquake there. I'm sure they will love them! Thank you so much for an excellent tutorial!
as an experienced crocheter i love rose and lilly patters they are so cute and easy to follow once you understand the terms. she does not do step by step for the stitches, but you can just google how to do them. my second crochet toy ever was one of these turtles and it was easy, i just had to look up step by step processes. anyway i will always recommend rose and lilly. love you guys ✊😌💗
In the process of making mine now but I’m using acrylic yarn instead so it’s definitely turning out smaller with the same pattern and hook size but it’s so cute so far thank you so much for this tutorial!!
I just finished attaching the head!!!! It came out super cute!! I had to make some adjustments as I didn't have the chunky yarn so I used the normal one, but it still came out super cute! If you're thinking about trying this, please do, it'll be worth it.. Thank you💜💜💜
Thank you for this tutorial. Made it as a gift for my baby daughter of 9 weeks and she discovered it right away when I sat it close by as we were getting ready to breastfeed. Hoping this will become a long lasting friendship ❤
This turned out so cute! I messed up the shell somehow and didn't get the little edge like it's supposed to have but I still like it. I used felt for the eyes and sewed it on so it can be safe for a baby.
I messed it up too and then figured out she goes under the last set of stitches. She shows it but that part I somehow missed. I fixed it and now it’s adorable.
Thanks for the tutorial, it was well explained and easy to follow. I was using a different kind of yarn and I would rate my turtle 3.5/5 stars comparatively to how yours came out, but I'm sure my sister will love it either way. Not bad for my first amigurumi. I started crocheting a little more than a week ago and this project has given me more confidence to continue. I subscribed!
@@AnumWahabSiddiquiI believe I got it. Single crochet into the first stitch, move to the second and do a single crochet plus increase. And repeat. So 1, 2, 1, 2, etc. Good luck!! :))
Thank you so much. I have made 3 of these within 3 days. One of the bigger one and two small ones. Such an easy pattern. You gave so much great advice that has improved my crocheting skills. I made one of the heads a little smaller because my daughter asked and it was very easy. I really appreciate that you offer different sizes. Thank you
I love any pattern that puts the description and instructions on the screen instead of just talking and saying what to do! There for I love this videooo!! I’m making a turtle for my aunt because she definitely deservesss ittt ! Ty so much for this helpful video !!
Thank you for sharing. This turtle is adorable. Love the colours you have done. This is not beginner friendly. I struggled with some parts, especially where you decrease over the chains for the legs. I'm not sure I will make another one as they are fiddly & I hate sewing 😂
Fantastic video for beginners. Can adjust playback speed if unsure of process. My second ever attempt at amigurumi worked out great. I started with a simple bee before attemptingthis turtle. Thanks for a fab tutorial.
I finished this today and it turned out to be the cutestttt. Thank you for this amazing tutorial ❤. Will make more . It turned out large with weight 6 super bulky chenille yarn and I am absolutely in love.
Thank you so much!!! I have plush yarn, and I didn't know I was holding it too tight while crocheting til this video! I made one of the little empanadas with my previous grip, which I held so tightly it would create indents in my feeding finger, and made another with the grip in your video, and I now have a project to redo! So excited!!!
I am in Korea. It was nearly impossible to find a youtuber who showed how to make this kind of turtles for free. Thank you for your turorial. Thanks to you, I completed a cute turtle for my baby. Thank you and happy new year.
thank you SO much for adding to my skills by mentioning invisible reduction - I looked it up and I'll never look back now when reducing stitches ¬!!! 💖💖💖💖💖💖
Thank you. Lovely, clear tutorial. The pattern produces exactly what you show. Some RU-vid patterns are not tested before they’re loaded causing a lot of disappointment. This is beginner friendly as the video is slow for harder parts. Well done 👏
This is a great tutorial but I would not recommend this yarn for beginners, especially the light grey colour. It's extremely hard to see your stitches and difficult to tell where they are if you don't have experience with amigurumi. You need somewhat of a built intutition to know where they are. The pattern is perfect to start out though
Yes I totally agree. I am not a beginner, but I am almost done with the project and oh my gosh I had so much trouble with the yarn I had to unravel my yarn a bunch of times. 🥲
@AutumnLeafOfficial as a beginner I started with this yarn tye first two project were well let’s just say different and then on the first I made a really nice bee so I think it depends on the person
Lol this was the problem I had. I used a chenel type yarn and had to put a stitch marker on EVERY stitch. Lesson learned. Lol but I got it done! Just waiting for eyes to get here so I can do the head.
Thank you, for this tutoral. It was my first Amigurumi project and it came out great. You gave clear instructions, and seeing the stich count on screen was very helpful.
i made my first turtle using your tutorial and I loved it. your tutorial is very easy to follow and i like it that you put a guide of which row you are in and the stiches. Thanks!
It’s is the cutest thing I have crocheted yet. It was a really easy turtle that I am gonna recommend the pattern to my best friend who I just taught how to crochet and she can’t stop! I am totally going to try more of your patterns. I have also made your penguin for my little sister. Thanks for everything! 😀
Very good pattern. Am making one right now, looking very cute so far! Thank you for making this pattern, and even for free! Looking forward to making more of your tutorials
Wow i just learned to crochet yesterday and i could only do a long strand, now today i made this! TYSM for the clear instructions! I feel so proffesional!
Thank you so much for this tutorial, I have never been able to read patterns, thank you for showing the written pattern with your work, this cleared up so much about reading patterns.
Thank you for this tutorial! I had so many mistakes and could never get toy right in the end, but with your tutorial i made it as same as yours and with NO problem and mistakes. Thank you again🐢💛
Just got done with mine, though I didn't have yarn like yours to work with. It turned out sooo cute!! For anyone else doing this, I also recommend doing embroidered "eye shadow" just above the eye, it adds so much character!
I have been doing the magic ring for the octopus critters that I make and it has always been a struggle. Now after watching this video I have learned from you a different way of making that ring and it has made all the difference!!! Now I can close my ring without any trouble. Thank you so much for sharing this:)
This tutorial is amazing! Thank you so much for taking the time to film, edit and upload it, I've absolutely ADORED making it and it turned out so cute!
So I spent the better part of the day with you and this video and I now have a beautiful turtle of my own! I am new to crochet (but have knitted for 20 years) and this was a great tutorial! your voice and demeanor is so relaxing too :) very sooooothing! I plan to make more with different yarn and needle as I felt my gauge was off and was a much tighter than I think it should have been. Thank you so much!
Hi, loving your patterns. I only learnt to crochet last year. So far i have made 2 dinosaurs, a bunny with dress and hair band, chubby bird and now going to do this turtle. Thankyou so much, i really enjoy doing these for my 22 grand children and one great grandson. I also made 3 bumble bees for older kids. Xx
Love your videos so easy and I am very good at crocheting and every single vidoe the pattern doesent look right but with yours it’s very cute and easy this took me about 3 days to make 👍
Thank you for this tutorial, this is the third amigurumi and crochet project I have made and also the most complicated and it came out so well! I had some trouble with the rounds after making the foot and tail holes but I was able to work around it. SO happy with my end project!
Thank you so much, it's a really good tuturial, it was really helpfull. I am now nearly finished with my turtle, it is so pretty. Yor video is honestly underratted.
Thank you so much!! I chose this to be my first bigger crochet project and I can't believe I actually made it! I now have a little friend all thanks to you
I have decent crochet experience and I’d say it’s a good tutorial but for beginners just look up and learn how to do the stitches BEFORE watching cause it doesn’t explain it, but keep up the good work!
I made this with normal yarn so the shell was really flat but I just made another shell and sewed it on top. Overall it’s so cute! Thank you for a great tutorial!
What size mm crochet needle did you use? I have really chunky yarn and I tried using what she used 4.25 mm and it’s just splitting the yarn because it’s too small.
I spent a lot of hours on Pinterest trying to find a cute turtle amigurumi, then I found this! Thanks for this beautiful pattern! I made the one with the blue shell, but I plan to do the turtle with yellow and pink shell!!!
This was the first animal I have made since getting crochet down pat earlier this year. It is super cute! As a new crocheter, I definitely agree… plush yarn is a little wonky to work with 😅 One trick I finally thought of while making my 3rd one for somebody was to use loom knitting pegs on the row where you are making the holes for the feet and tail. The chain spots were hard to find because they would get a little tight as I was going around. I put a peg in each chain space as I did them so I could easily find the chains for the next row, which has you decreasing. This will be one of those things I will continue to make. One gift idea is for a present topper for babies up to adults. They are just too cute and snuggly to deny any age group 💕🤗 Thank you for taking the time to put this out there for us!
Thank you so much for your time and effort to write down a pattern and create this video, for FREE!! I'm a beginner and this was so helpful in not only creating an adorable turtle :) but also how to read patterns!! THANK YOU!!!
I wanna make this for my mom for her bday which is in like 6 days... The thing is I don't have a lot of experience with crotchet so I plan on spending those days studying crotchet with all the free time I have! Wish me luck :} 🤞
Great tutorial, thanks. Just made my first turtle. I will definitely be making more. Clear instructions and great having the stitch count on screen. I can't wait for more videos.
Thank you for the turorial-your directions were excellent! This was only my second crochet project, and it turned out great! My daughter loves sea turtles, so this is perfect!
