I have 3 6.5s and an 8 inch sub in each of my honda accord doors and I didn't pay near 1000 dollars... I just took my time and made it happen myself. My doors are exact replicas of steve Meades Tahoe. Anyone can do door pods just have to not rush it and its definitely achievable.
This video is very helpful.. I need to get my doors done and need to do it on a budget.. so that being said imma try something like this very soon.. thank you for the informational video.. helps tremendously.. keep up the great work parker
That Taramps beats those subs like they stole something. As long as your happy, your builds going good. I see to many vids where you can tell there mids got hit by peoples shoes so put some type of grill is my 2 cents. Your vids are awesome as always maing!! Always look forward to more!
I bet the mids and highs sound great!. Gotta remember the moisture shield is there for a reason though. Thanks for continuing to make car audio video's I look forward to them.
Parker Dacchille yeah man. You’ve shown us how we really have no limitations, whatever you want bad enough you can do it if you put your mind to it. Younger or older man you motivate a lot of your viewers. Been a fan for a good while brotha.
I have 4 of the 6x9's in the back of my 94 hatchback with 2 of there 12's. just got in 2 10's to add to it. waiting on the second sub amp to come in. They are a good budget company along side American bass and such. All the same stuff. Love your videos ❤️ keep it up 💪
El mejor video que he visto y el más sencillo Todos los otros videos los súper profesionales con máquinas extra modernas ect ect como si el que buscara información tuviera esas máquinas gracias man excelente video
Sounds great! I'm too scared to make custom pannels for my 2015 corolla, but I threw some deaf bonce sylvesters in my door and arnolds in my rear deck, does extremely well considering they are 100W+ under powered
I was going to ask how many of those door panel type installs have you done but you said that was the first one. Nice!!!!! once again it looks like professional quality work and I'm sure it sounds just as good
Alot better than something I woulda made... everytime I make something It always looks like crap...lol nice install...I do need to invest into some dynomat so much rattle coming from the trunk of my car.
You should put these jbls in some box and test them and also repair them they would sound pretty good by the way awesome panels I really love the way they look very simple way how to upgrade car speakers👌👍
I like what you've done here, maybe add some sound deadening to the door sink inside and perhaps a foam ring between the door sink and panel to prevent sound energy being lost between the two. This should increase the Midbass dramatically. I'm driving a Corsa with Blam 2 way components up front and Pioneer 6x9 in the rear, the rears are individually boxed and built into the Parcel shelf and angled towards the front. I'm running no Amps but my 6x9 go down to 30hz. In a small car it sounds awesome. The key is Sound Proofing, knowing how to use it and where to put it. Not necessarily to increase the Sound inside but also to decrease the interference from outside. 😉
Nice I feel the highs are a lot tougher to get right for me in my 07 Yukon the stock door speaker location is the worst for loud sound. It's pointing to your feet and hidden I wish I could figure out how to get louder there without cutting up the door.
So with the install done for some time now, how is it working out! G was thinking that you would want to mount it to the door rather than just the panel but if it works it works!
Are those toro subwoofers? I've been looking into them what would you recommend for sound quality for someone who listens to death metal and rap.. size is no issue but I want sound quality no crazy loud I only have a sound ordnance b24 or whatever the 2 12 is came with the vehicle I plan on 4x6.5 speakers 2x 6x9s and 2x6.5 to 12 inch subwoofers. The 2 6x9 rockville and the 6.5s ds18 or prv also might add 2x10inch mids not sure
SoundQubed isnt bad for the money, however they are more of a budget SPL brand. Sound quality brands would be like Focal, Inage Dynamics, Brax, CDT etx. I am an Image Dynamics and Audison fan. Sub and amps are Image Dynamics IDMaxv4 12 sealed and a SQ1500 5. Speakers are the Audison Voce 6.5 comps and 3" midranges with a moniDSP 6x8 2.0 DSP
Dude u did an AMAZING JOB on those doors panels yeah there may be some people out there that can do it a little better but there professionals don't forget u don't use a machine to cut out ur peices all im saying is give yourself the credit ur due BROTHA. O i had a question im shr im not the only one who asked this question but the lithium battery that u made how much all together did it cost u i think u said it but my dumb ass forgot and would u be willing to build one or two to sell if not i understand but if so PLEASE BROTHA LET ME KNOW THANKS EITHER WAY [✌🏽💪🏽🔈✌🏽💪🏽🔉✌🏽💪🏽🔊 ]
Can you run mids and super tweeters off the same amp because I was gonna go with deaf bonce sylvester 6.5 and tweets and don't know how to power them ive heard you need an amp for mids and another amp for highs
Thanks so much for this video. I just installed my 6.5's and tweeters in the front doors the same way you did and it looks awesome. Not all door panels are designed to where you can make it look good doing it this way, but the doors on my van work out perfect. I plan to fiberglass the whole bottom half of my doors to hold either 2 10's or one 10 and a 8". Or, I could just fit 4 6.5's in there. I'm just going with one tweet per door because I also have 2 super tweeters in the dash and I have 2 more and those are going in the back somewhere.. Right now I'm running all Skars mids and highs but I'm either going to go with SoundQubed or DS18. Which of the 2 do you thing sounds better?
@@MrALAVOL99 nice. Curious tho, did you cut it open after a while to see if it really worked or you're just going off how it looks on the outside still?I have no experience with bedliner which is why I'm questioning
I wanna redo my car audio configuration but I don’t know how to do it and how much it costs and or can I do it myself or take it to a shop I understand Bluetooth, portable and home theater speakers but I don’t get more understand how car Audio works
why not at least paint the MDF to match the rest of the panel or a color that goes good with it , did you also build some type of baffel behind the speaker so it would reach the door itself and act as a enclosure????
There brand new I totaled my car before I did all the tuning I'd I'd like for somebody rising up in RU-vid like you to have them I'd give them to you cheaper than you can buy them online
Thumbs up... Buy i think you should of went w the ppl 3ways... Pro audio is loud... But sound isn't great.. Ive had tons of mids in my life pro audio loud sounds ok but never found pro audio to have a clarity like some car audio mids do If you are going to keep them.. Sand the edges of the mdf then use Primer filler then paint.. Filler will keep u from using 10 cans
I've been through ALOT of different minds and highs in my 25 years of installing and pro audio has almost always sounded like garbage.....until I got my pioneer pro 6.5s and the pro 4" tweeters. Sound better than the infinity references they replaced and 4 times as loud, they actually play down to 70hz with authority and are VERY smooth and don't fatigue your ears like most pa stuff does. But a full sq build 3 ways for sure , it at least active 2 way
