im am a beginner dancer and i have to do a presentation on any type of dance genre, i feel like doing contemporary dance. do you have any tips? or should i try anything "easier"?
do whatever you feel comfortable doing! I've been dancing 10+ years, so do what you feel you are capable of! And, one tip is to play the song you'd want to perform to, and improvise! That way you can get a feel of styles that would suit the song, and what you could do. I do that heaps, it really helps! xx
Bboy or breakdancer here and this also good for learning breaking Edit: sadly if you wanna do breaking this is beginner breaking moves if you can’t do these you probably won’t be able to do more advanced breaking moves. You don’t have to do it as gracefully and beautifully as them since it’s different dance style but it all up to you it your own style. Plus dancing is about having fun. Just have fun and you’ll improve faster but make sure you still learn and practice.
