Follow along in this easy DIY beginners tutorial and learn how to resin your own ocean seashells and embeds them into tea light candle holder silicone molds. From start to finish step by step from cleaning molds, pouring resin and tinting with basic inks and pigment pastes to demolding your candle set. Make these beautiful resin candle set of three with embedded sea shells. Use pearl lustre pigment paste to create the sand look and realistic ocean water tinted using ink from @justresin.
Note: Make sure you use only candles that are contained in polycarbonate holders so that the direct flame and heat is not in contact with the resin. You can also use battery operated tea light candles. In this demonstration I use natural beeswax candles that I make and they are contained inside polycarbonate holders. Use candles safely.
