Thank you! I have been really getting some good use out of mine. It works perfect! I just set it on a plate to keep the water from dripping on the table. That's a clever use of a potato smasher!
Use another of the coffee tin lids at the bottom, . cut a circle of foam and also cut out a hole in the middle , place the foam circle onto the bottom lid & then add the jar through the hole , the foam will catch any drips and the whole unit will be more secure. 😊
You are beyond brilliant. I have always hated brush holders that allow water to stay at the bottom of the bristles. This is perfect. All your palette mods are just as thoughtful. I don't know much about hot glue but is the tip of it (without glue in the gun) hot enough to melt holes in the coffee can lid?
Thank you so much! I felt the same about brush holders. Storing your brushes upside down is best, laying flat is good too. I didn’t experience the lid melting. But I guess it could if you held the metal tip to the plastic. But I just let the glue touch the lid and it was fine.
What kind of job does an art major get one they get out of school? I wanted to go to school for art or philosophy, but my parents made me go to medical school since they were paying.
I don’t really know the answer without doing some research. You could probably google it. I went to college later in life. So I just went with what I thought would give me joy. But, there are definitely more job opportunities in medical.
