@@bodyofhope I hope someone is around to tell you that when you hit your 80's, getting old isn't for sissies. Having said that, the decorations are lovely, really beautiful! They just are not safe. Handrails are in homes for a reason.
I'm fairly certain this is a one time deal. More likely some will get hurt because there is no longer a railing to use. And that will end this "Christmas masterpiece ".
@@ronadoyle3158 of course it is.. but she's trying to tell us and herself that it's so great because she can "just take it off and use it again" as if this is not an enormous waste of materials
Lovely, but I need my banisters to keep from tripping down the stairs! Folks, y’all gonna spend a thousand bucks in all! 10 for decorations and 900 for the emergency room 😅
Twistegrim,,,,,,she should have more cones,,,the big thorny type, then when a tumble begins the tumbler has nice big cones to impale their hand and thus stop a fall.
Until I bust my ass falling down the entire staircase cuz I have no handrail to hold & spend Xmas night in hospital.. 😂it looks good tho-She did an excellent job
Beautiful but I would suggest switching it to the bottom part of the railing where the garland is & putting the garland decor on top . At least you can still use the railing.
I didn’t have a stair rail for years and years. It was so convenient for getting large items upstairs (or not banging my elbows on when carrying a tray). I hated having to fit one as a requirement for getting a grant to carry out other work not related to having stairs. And still miss the gap not having one gave me.
I have an ankle injury that caused permanent damage. I'm 33 and I would fall trying to go down those stairs without a railing. Then out of instinct I would reach out to grab the railing and shatter some of those ornaments into my hand
I couldn’t find anything but a 2story townhouse when I moved to a condo. I hold onto that banister every time I go down those stairs. It would be a pretty ugly mess to fall down those stairs when you live alone.
Grandma wouldn't be able to climb those stairs anyways..we're not as young as we used to be..I'm all for that Holiday look on the railing!! Cute!! Loving it 🥰
and a broken leg or two with glass shards gouged into your hands ... oh, and blood on the carpet and a $2500 ER bill ... I'm telling ya, these Millennials were never taught common sense.
Nothing says festive quite like the flashing lights of the ambulance you had to call for the fifth time this week! Tune in next week when we teach you how to make a wreath out of all of the X-rays and used ice packs!
Omg hilarious! Thanks for the laugh. People like you are the reason we shouldn’t really need warning labels on toaster ovens cautioning us to never use them in the shower.
Beautiful but how do you safely get down the stairs? Especially at Christmas, when Grand Auntie B with her new hip, and Grannie Mo with the vertigo come to call.
After Christmas if you survive She'll do a video wrapping it around ones steering wheel in order to recycle the first accident. And a happy new year???
It would be better to do it on the left side as you descend the stairs as most people are right handed. That way there is a handrail available should anyone need it. It is really beautiful!
I mean it's incredible other than the fact that you can't hold on to the railing when you go down the stairs now hope you don't have any elderly relative show up for Christmas
Y’all are wildin in these comments and I’m rolling ! It is beautiful tho but these comments are just what I needed to get me right this morning before work lol
Take the same idea but don't cut the pool noodle and then zip tie it to the bottom of the railing this way you see it from the front and you still have the ability to hold on
read what @CathyRueterWriter wrote. These influencers all seem to have mini mansions like this one and they have two handcrails. if "you" only have 1 handrail, find a design that works for your house.
Imagine bring half arse asleep and you get the munchies late at night and you go down the stairs only to slip and grab to the railing only to have ornaments shatter under your hand
Great! I actually just sent this to my mom who is obsessed with Christmas and she is watching this video right now on her phone and setting it up right now!
I love it!. Unfortunately the stairs are covered w/ carpet. I caught my shoe heel on our carpet and fell down the stairs . I grabbed the railing luckily and saved myself but broke a toe. Railings are really important. I would try to attach it to the railing just under the handrail on the outside so the handrail is still usable.
This is creative and stunning! Gorgeous! Also, It’s quite shocking how many people live with their Grandma and assume you do as well…Thank you for sharing for those of us that don’t live with Granny!
I 💕💕💕 this especially the way you used different size and textures. Very beautiful! Best part is you carefully store it and use it next year. Garlands are spectacular additions to Holiday decorations!
