These are so cool, Tess! So I tried using glow in the dark and also got lots of bubbles and it doesn’t like to mix very well, or smoothly. Then I tested mixing the powder with 99% alcohol first then put it in the resin and that worked great. You don’t need to completely soak the powder in the alcohol just a few sprays. I put the powder on a flat scraper tool then put that in a produce bag and spray the alcohol on inside the bag so it doesn’t fly all over and you won’t breathe it. Then just scrap it all off into your resin. Extra step put a world of difference. Ooooh! Make green and purple ones!

Wait! That’s SUCH a great tip! And I’ve got a little spray bottle that I used on a couple trips to transport toner that I think would be perfect for that. 🧐 I’ll definitely try this next time! Thank you 😊💘

@@t3sslarkYou're welcome!💖 Let me know how it works for you or if you find a better way. I did try putting the powder in the bottom on the 100ml silicone...bottle? Beaker? What's the word?!🤦🏼‍♀️😂 you know what I mean..and sprayed in there and covered with my other hand then poured the clear resin on top but if you don't know EXACTLY how much powder you want, it doesn't work because if you want to add more, then it doesn't mix and you are back to the problem you started with. That's why I use my scraper tool. If you don't use all the powder you spray, just let it dry out and put it back in the container. I use those 1oz travel spray bottles. They have a pretty fine mist and easy to keep clean. Just spray over the top of the powder (also why I use a produce bag) and let it fall into the powder. I sprayed directly on the powder and it poofed all over. Lol.

That plain band really looks like it had an overfilled lip all around the one side and should be underfilled or have that part sanded completely off. Love the idea of making these though. I'd definitely use a rotary tool for the sanding and buffing after, but only because I already own one. Unless I was making a bunch of things the investment may not be worth it. Though you can get them very cheap in the US from Harbor Freight. Thanks for sharing.
