Another option that could be used in combo with it. Make the light look like a separate effect. Put what looks like a glass fortune teller ball or "magic artifact" in front of it but in such a way it's not actually blocking or distorting the light. Put some really dim candle like lights around it and you've turned a bug into a feature.

I simply use black foam board and cut out a cemetery scene and place the projector behind it, then use the keystone to correct the video orientation. The tombstones don't have to be big, only about 6-8 inches high, just enough to hide the projector glare.

Chiffon is much easier to rip and I don't see zipties holding it, tulle is much better for that. Tulle also is 4 to 8 times cheaper, so still the cheapest way to go.

BTW I am trying a new type of tulle (grey) as per a recommendation from a viewer. I'll post a video to let you know how it goes. :)

@@vickigonya9432 I am a Christian, and the son of a minister. Halloween is not demonic unless one makes it so. Otherwise it is simply an American holiday. Nothing evil about it. I bet you put up a Christmas tree. That is a pagan symbol as well, if one chooses to make it so. In fact, if you have anything at all up in your home other than religious symbols like Nativities, it is NO different than celebrating Halloween. Especially for those of us with super small yards, we only either have wooden or vinyl 6’ or 8’ fences usually.

I bought a simple projector from Amazon. Try to find the best brightest/cheapest you can find! After all, you'll be leaving it outside! :)

It works with any gates, chainlink fence or no gate at all. As long as you light up the background. Good luck!😁

@@SparkySINN Alas, no, I got covid for the first time right before Halloween D: I didn't get to do Halloween at all, and it's my main holiday.

The cheapest/brightest one you can find. I used the Bomaker GC355 720p projector, but it's getting pricier than I paid for.

No quite since the projector would light up the gate even more than the street light.

Any green spot light from amazon. I got the cheapest I could find.
